Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Students and graduates of any official degree from Valencian universities who have completed their final degree or master's degree project on a topic related to STATISTICAL, ECONOMIC AND MACHINE LEARNING METHODOLOGIES FOR THE DETECTION OF FINANCIAL CRIMES AND MONEY LAUNDERING may apply for the DEBLANC-Universitat de València Chair Award. OF CAPITAL OR REGULATORY AND JURISPRUDENTIAL ASPECTS FOR THE DETECTION AND FIGHT AGAINST ECONOMIC CRIMES AND MONEY LAUNDERING. Second. Purpose: The University of Valencia, through the DEBLANC-Universitat de València Chair, announces the VI Edition of the DEBLANC Chair Awards 2023 for the best Bachelor's or Master's thesis, the content of which is oriented towards the topic of statistical, economic and machine learning methodologies for the detection of financial crimes and money laundering or regulatory and jurisprudential aspects for the detection. and fight against economic crimes and money laundering, carried out from any area of knowledge and defended in any of the universities of the Valencian Community during the 2021/22 and 2022/23 academic years. Its purpose is to promote the study of these disciplines by undergraduate and master's students in Valencian universities, as well as their dissemination. Third. Regulatory bases: The call is published at the following url: https://ir.uv.es/1GWnXir Fourth. Amount: The award is financed by chapter VII of the budget of the University of Valencia for the year 2023 of the organic DEBLANC Chair 3050461616 and specific 20180211, for an amount of 600 euros. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be from the day following the publication of the Call in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) until September 15, 2023.
