Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Any university student or doctoral student from any university in Spain who has submitted and approved their TFG, TFM or Doctoral Thesis in the 2021-2022 or 2022-2023 academic year and that is related to any of the aforementioned topics may participate. Second. Purpose: The regular purpose of the award is the granting of an award, within the framework of the SEOFER Chair of Road Safety and Intelligent Mobility, for Final Degree Projects (TFG), Final Master's Projects (TFM) and Doctoral Theses presented during the academic period of the 2021-2022 or 2022-2023 academic years. The purpose of this award is to promote dissemination in the field of Road Safety, Transport, Intelligent Mobility and Road Signage, especially in the following topics: 1. Improving the performance of the human factor (perception, attention, learning and attitudes) in road safety. 2. The ultimate reduction in accident rates and increase in road safety. 3. Improving mobility and road safety for Vulnerable Users. 4. An advance in traffic efficiency and reduction of congestion. 5. The promotion of digitalization in transport. 6. The development of connectivity (Infrastructure – Vehicle). 7. Reducing emissions in transportation. Third. Regulatory bases: The call is published at the following url: https://ir.uv.es/mgT6OsD Fourth. Amount: The award is financed by chapter VII of the budget of the University of Valencia for the year 2023, organic 9390060723, specific 20200749, for an amount of 2,000 euros. A single prize of 2,000 euros is established. However, a prize can be declared ex-aequo (two tied candidates who share the prize at €1,000 per winner). Accésits or Special Mentions may also be awarded to the Doctoral Thesis, without this necessarily implying a financial award. Fifth. Application submission period: The application submission period will begin the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) and will be open until September 30, 2023.
