2023 aid to sports entities for the participation of teams in national and international sports competitions, s/Resolution of July 11, 2023 that calls for them

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 20.8.a) and 23.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the Resolution of July 11, 2023, of the General Secretariat, by which the call for applications is made for the year, was published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura number 142, of July 25, 2023. 2023 of the aid for the participation of teams from Extremadura sports entities in national and international sports competitions for the year 2023, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (https://www.pap.hacienda.gob.es/bdnstrans/es/index) and in the aforementioned Official Gazette of Extremadura, whose BDNS identification number is 708565. The purpose of the aforementioned resolution is to call, under a direct concession and open call, for the year 2023, aid for the participation of teams belonging to Extremadura sports entities in the competitions contemplated in Annex I of the Order of September 18, 2020, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid for the participation of teams from Extremadura sports entities in national and international sports competitions (DOE no. 186, of September 24, 2020). In accordance with point 5 of the sixth operative section of the call resolution, the deadline for submitting applications was one month from the day following the publication of the call and its extract in the DOE. Therefore, the deadline for submitting applications ended on August 25, 2023. Point 1 of the fifth operative section of the call resolution established that «1. The aid object of this call will be financed from the budget application 150040000 G/274A/48000/20050289/CAG0000001, of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura for the year 2023, for an amount of 226,000 euros. In point 2, the fifth operative section provides that this amount may be increased, depending on whether there are new budgetary availabilities, in accordance with article 29.3 of the Subsidies Law of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, which establishes that the open call for the direct granting of subsidies will determine the applications, budgetary projects and the estimated amounts initially planned for the period of validity of the call, which may be increased depending on the budgetary availability. On November 28, 2023, the initially planned credits were increased for the amount of €154,942.99 in order to be able to grant all correctly submitted applications with the right to aid that had been received until then, resulting in the total credit for the call being established at €380,942.99. This extension was publicized through Announcement published in the DOE number 241 of December 19, 2023. During the year 2023, applications for an amount of €378,379.04 were finally granted and, therefore, of the €380,942.99 of the call, there is an available balance of €2,563.95. Complementary documentation has been received for some of the applications submitted, which means that the total amount of aid to be granted is €387,579.04. Given that the amount of credit available is insufficient to meet the requests submitted and pending resolution and there are budget availability that allows the credit of the call to be increased, it is necessary to expand the credit of the same, incorporating credit recorded in the expenditure project 20050289 and budget application 150040000 G/274A/48000, financing source CAG0000001 of the Budgets General of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura for the year 2024, for the amount of €6,636.05, to the €380,942.99 of the call, which gives a final amount of €387,579.04. In accordance with the provisions of article 39.4 of Law 6/2011, of March 23, on Subsidies of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, the increase in credits in the call requires the publication in the Official Gazette of Extremadura and on the Subsidies Portal of the Autonomous Community of an announcement from the body responsible for approving the call, which includes how the total credits of the call would be, distributed by projects. and budget applications.
