MAYOR'S RESOLUTION OF AUGUST 4, 2023, OF THE BENIMODO CITY COUNCIL, WHICH CALL FOR AID FOR BENIMODO STUDENTS ENROLLED IN OFFICIAL EDUCATION CENTERS FOR THE 2022/2023 YEAR

Official description of the call

This Corporation is aware of the economic effort involved in having students within families, especially those with students who follow non-compulsory education. Therefore, through this aid, the Benimodo City Council wants to contribute to improving and promoting the development of Benimodolins/nes. Article 1. PURPOSE OF THE CALL The purpose of this call is to grant aid to Benimodo students who are enrolled for the 2022/2023 academic year in official educational centers in the following modalities: • COMPULSORY SECONDARY EDUCATION (ESO) • BASIC VOCATIONAL TRAINING (FPB) • SPECIAL EDUCATION • HIGH SCHOOL • CYCLES TRAINING (middle and higher) • ARTISTIC STUDIES (middle and higher) • PROFESSIONAL AND HIGHER STUDIES OF MUSIC AND DANCE • UNIVERSITY • QUALIFYING MASTERS Article 2. AMOUNT AND FINANCING OF THE AID The total amount of the aid will be financed from items 320.4800002 with a total amount of 4,500 euros and 320.4800003 with a total amount of 4,500 euros from the City Council's budget for the year 2023. Article 3. BENEFICIARY REQUIREMENTS The beneficiaries of these aid will be those students who meet the following requirements: - Having been enrolled in official educational centers during the 2022/2023 academic year. - Belong to one of the modalities indicated in article 1. - Be registered in Benimodo, along with the rest of the members of the family unit in the municipality of Benimodo on the date of completion of the submission of applications and throughout the school year for which the aid is requested. - Lack of paid work. - That the applicant or the parents or legal representatives will have to meet the requirements established in article 13 of Law 38/2003, General Subsidies, on the date of completion of the submission of applications. Accreditation of these requirements will be carried out through the responsible declaration and authorization integrated in the application form. Those students enrolled in courses, competition preparation courses, access courses or tests, etc. are excluded from these aids. and the students of the rest of the master's and postgraduate courses. Article 4. MODALITY The aid will consist of a single payment, which will be determined after all applications have been resolved and will be a maximum of the following: - ESO, FPB and Special Education: 50 euros. - Baccalaureate, training cycles, artistic studies, professional music and dance studies: 70 euros. - Higher studies in music and dance and University: 150 euros. Applicants will have access to only one aid, even if they are enrolled in more than one discipline, and as long as the justification of the eligible expenses is higher than the amount awarded. In the event that the number of applications results in an amount greater than that allocated in the budget, the amount of each aid will be distributed proportionally according to budgetary availability. Article 5. ELIGIBLE EXPENSES. SCHOOL MATERIAL. Within this line of subsidy, expenses incurred for the acquisition of non-curricular teaching and consumable materials will be taken into account for the granting of aid. - With regard to Compulsory Secondary Education, Basic Level Training Cycles and Special Education, aid will only be compatible if it is intended for material not included in the Book Bank program. - Regarding the Baccalaureate and the Intermediate and Higher Level Training Cycles, intermediate and higher artistic education, professional and higher education in music and Dance, University and Master's degrees will be compatible since these teachings are not included in the Book Bank Program for the 2022-2023 academic year. Thus, the aid granted in this call will not be compatible with any other aid that could be received for the same purpose, whether through other public or private entities. The application for aid implies the sworn declaration of not receiving more than one subsidy for the same concept. SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION. Within this line of subsidy, expenses incurred for school transportation that involve travel from the municipality of Benimodo to the corresponding educational center will be taken into account for the granting of aid. - Regarding Compulsory Secondary Education
