Call for the 2023-2024 school year for subsidies aimed at promoting physical and sports activities during extracurricular hours

In accordance with the specific Rules that will regulate the granting of subsidies for public schools, charter schools or their AFAS, for the promotion of physical and sports activities during extracurricular hours in Castelldefels, approved by the Plenary Session of the Castelldefels City Council in a session on April 29, 2021. They are those published in the BOPB dated: 06/25/2021, URL: https://bop.diba.cat/anunci/3088645 By virtue of the powers attributed to me by the current Local Regime Legislation, I HAVE: First.- Approve the call for Subsidies for the 2023-2024 academic year, established in the "Specific Bases that will regulate the granting of subsidies for public schools, charter schools or their AFAS, for the promotion of physical and sports activities during extracurricular hours in Castelldefels", by this City Council and under a competitive competition regime subject to the following basic determinations: CALL FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR FOR SUBSIDIES AIMED FOR THE PROMOTION OF PHYSICAL AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES DURING EXTRA-SCHOOL TIMES. a).- Regulatory Bases: The specific Bases that govern the granting of subsidies by the Castelldefels City Council for the promotion of physical and sports activities in public and subsidized primary schools during after-school hours in Castelldefels, are those published in the BOPB dated: 06/25/2021, url: https://bop.diba.cat/anunci/3088645 b).- Budget credits to which allocates the subsidy and maximum total amount: The maximum amount planned will be €23,000.00, recorded in the following budget application 25/3410/48900 TRANSF. INSTITUCIONS SENSE FINS LUCRE project: DESP_PME_0038, from the municipal budget for the year 2024. (A_FUT: 12023000110784). Each of the grants awarded will have a maximum individual allocation of 5,000.00 EUR within the limit of the maximum amount allocated and a maximum of 15 activities may be submitted. c).- Purpose: These subsidies aim to promote physical and sports activities in schools during extracurricular hours, facilitating access to physical and sports activities for the boys and girls of Castelldefels, as another part of the educational process, and generating positive habits and values, guaranteeing at the same time that the activity is carried out in a structured and controlled manner by duly trained technicians, organized by the entities. The subsidized activities must meet the requirements established in article 1 of the Specific Bases. The subsidized projects will be those carried out during the 2023/2024 school year. d).- Call regime: The granting of the aforementioned subsidies will be carried out through a competitive competition regime. e).-Beneficiaries and requirements: The following may be beneficiaries of the subsidies object of this call: Public schools, subsidized schools, their AFAS (in the event that these are the ones that carry out extracurricular activities) or companies or entities that carry out extracurricular sports activities in schools, provided that they are legally constituted and registered in the corresponding official registry and, in addition, that on the date of the application, they meet the requirements established by the General Law of Subsidies. (Law 38/2003 of November 17). If they are local associations, they will also have to be registered in the Registry of Citizen Entities of the City Council. The beneficiaries of the Subsidy must be up to date with the payment of their tax obligations, with Social Security and with this city council, of their tax obligations or others from public law income, including refunds of previous subsidies. f).- Bodies competent for the investigation and resolution of the procedure: Articles 8.2 and 8.3 of the specific bases that regulate the granting of these subsidies are transcribed in relation to the bodies competent for the investigation and resolution of the procedure, deadline for resolution and acceptance: “8.2.- Bodies competent for the investigation and resolution of the concession procedure The instruction of the procedure will correspond to the head of the service/section/unit of the management area that has the application assigned to it.
