Announcement from the Xàtiva City Council, on an extract from the agreement of the Local Government Board, of September 11, 2023, approving the specific regulatory bases for the granting of aid to women's associations in the municipality of Xàtiva that carry out activities that promote equality and/or against gender violence. In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (https://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatoria/636712) First.- Purpose: The purpose of these regulations is to define the conditions and the procedure to follow for the application and granting of subsidies granted by the Xàtiva City Council, within the framework of its budgetary provisions, to those women's associations that organize activities aimed at promoting gender equality and/or against gender violence in the City of Xàtiva Second.- Beneficiaries: Non-profit women's associations, which carry out their activities in the municipality of Xàtiva, may be beneficiaries. Beneficiary associations will have to meet the following requirements: • Be legally constituted. • Be registered in the Municipal Registry of Municipal Associations of Xàtiva. • Have its registered office and tax address in the municipality of Xàtiva. • Not be subject to the prohibitions to obtain the status of beneficiary established in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. • Be up to date with your tax obligations. • Have justified, if applicable, the subsidies granted by this City Council in the previous financial year. • Not have any administrative sanction. • Not have any profit motive. • The statutes must contain, among their purposes, the promotion of gender equality. • It must be composed of 90% women and its Board of Directors must be 100% women.
