COOPERATION WITH COUNTRIES IN DEVELOPMENT AND FOURTH WORLD. 2023.

Official description of the call

First: Object: The object and purpose of this call is the co-financing of projects, activities and programs, through the granting of subsidies for their execution in structurally impoverished countries, the purpose of which is to contribute to the economic and social human progress of the most disadvantaged peoples, as well as fourth world projects that directly impact affected people in our environment, through non-governmental organizations (NGDOs), associations, non-profit entities and foundations. Another line of actions included in these bases are those whose purpose is to support humanitarian actions in emergency situations. Second: Beneficiary Entities They may have the status of beneficiary entity as provided for in art. 24 of the Development Cooperation Law of the Valencian Community, as well as non-profit associations and foundations that contemplate development cooperation in the purposes of their statutes. The NGDOs and/or applicant entities will have to meet the following requirements: 1) Be constituted at protection provided for in article 22 of the Spanish Constitution and other legal provisions.2) Be legal entities legally constituted in accordance with their legal nature and formally registered in the corresponding registry, at least three years before the publication of the regulatory bases, as well as in the case of local ones, be included in the census of local associations.3) Lack of profit purposes.4) Have a registered office or permanent delegation in the Valencian Community.5) Have an express purpose, according to their own statutes. or memories, the carrying out of activities related to development cooperation and the promotion of solidarity between peoples and attention in the fourth world.6) The term fourth world refers to the population that lives in conditions of lack of protection. The economic growth of developed countries has given rise to what is known as the fourth world, a term that encompasses all those people who reside in the most advanced countries, but are excluded or at risk of social exclusion.7) Have sufficient structure to guarantee the fulfillment of their social purposes and accredit experience.8) Be up to date with tax and social security obligations.9) Be up to date, in the case of having received subsidies previously, in compliance with the obligations established in the corresponding call.Third: Previous experienceThe applicant NGDOs will have to prove their previous experience of four cooperation projects in developing countries, individually or in groups with other NGDOs. The entities of the fourth world will present justification of annual activity programs.Quart: Regulatory BasesThe Regulatory Bases are those approved by the Governing Board of the Picanya City Council on January 12, 2018 and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia number 26, of February 6, 2018.Fifth: FinancingTo meet the amount of aid to be granted in this call, the Application is affected Budget 2312,480 allocated for solidarity subsidies for a total of 8,000.00 euros.Sixth: Submission periodThe presentation of applications will be open the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia and will end after 30 calendar daysSeventh: ApplicationsThe applications, for which help is requested in this call, will be presented according to the procedure and models established in the Virtual Office of the Picanya City Council (http://www.picanya. org/administracio/oficina-virtual/servicios-sociales) Eighth: PublicationThis call will be published in the national subsidy database, in the BOP and on the City Council's website.
