Rules of the photographic contest to create the 2025 Municipal calendar

Official description of the call

1. Purpose of the subsidy. The purpose of these Rules is to organize a photographic contest to incorporate 13 photographs into the 2025 calendar, rewarding those that have been selected by the Jury, in accordance with what is regulated therein. 2. Requirements to apply for the subsidy CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION Open to all people who wish to participate. • All photographs must be taken in Beasain or the location must be Beasain and this fact must be clearly seen in them. • Modality: black and white or color, regardless. • The works can be current or from previous times. • The author of any of the winning photographs will not be able to use it from the moment this fact is communicated to them until they receive the prize. • Works: Maximum 4 works per person. Not previously published or awarded in other competitions. • Delivery format: Horizontal. Images must be in JPG format, 2500px the longest part, 250 dpi and in RGB color space. No file can exceed 6 Megabytes. 3. Amount of the subsidy From the participating works, the Jury will choose twelve photographs that will be published in the 2025 calendar of the Beasain City Council. Additionally, a thirteenth image will be chosen as the cover. These thirteen photographs will receive a prize of €60 each. 4. Deadline and place for submitting applications Deadline: Last day, September 30, 2024. Method: • Both submission and registration will be done digitally through the form that the City Council has published for this purpose at the following address: www.beasain.eus The following data will be requested: name and surname, ID, full address, telephone number, email address, photo number, title and description. The file name must start with the photo number and continue with the title. e.g.: 1_Igartza-Loinatz auzoko jaiak .jpg 2_Arriaran Reservoir.jpg …. Each photo must be accompanied by a brief description. If there are images of recognizable minors, as long as they are under 14 years old, it is essential that the person taking the photograph sends written consent from their parents, guardians or legal guardians to publish their image. If the person photographed is between 14 and 18 years old, the author of the photograph will send written consent from the minor. People over 18 years of age will also give their written approval through the author of the photograph.
