COMMUNITY RESILIENCE AWARDS FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF ALICANTE

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries: They will be able to obtain beneficiary status and apply for these AWARDS: · Undergraduate or Master's students at the University of Alicante enrolled in the 2022-2023 academic year and graduates in the two previous academic years, for the Final Degree Projects (TFG), Master's Final Projects (TFM) and entrepreneurship projects. · Applications may be submitted individually or in groups of up to five people. Second. Purpose: These awards seek to promote collaborative and cooperative practices among the students of the University of Alicante that are recognized as useful for moving towards a more just, sustainable and resilient economy and society, through self-organization, self-financing and networking of communities that should allow greater adaptation of society to the current volatile, uncertain, complex and critical scenario, having as a possible common link the use of a complementary currency for its development. Third. Regulatory bases: The regulatory bases and call are published jointly in the Official Gazette of the University of Alicante on October 16, 2023, at the following URL: https://www.boua.ua.es/Agreements/DescargarAtrabajo/43243 Cuarto. Amount: The prize amount is a maximum of 3,000 euros. A maximum number of 5 PRIZES will be awarded, with a maximum total amount of 3,000 euros gross. The prizes, which may be void, will have the following amounts: · First prize: 1,000 euros gross · Second prize: 800 euros gross · Third prize: 600 euros gross · Fourth prize: 400 euros gross · Fifth prize: 200 euros gross Fifth. Application submission period: The application period will open on October 23 until October 31, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. This call will be published in BOUA for information purposes. Sixth. Other information: Award criteria: The allocation of AWARDS will be carried out following the following criteria: Criterion 1. The originality and innovative nature of the idea (maximum 3 points). Criterion 2. Clarity and rigor in its approach and development (maximum 4 points). ¿ Criterion 3. The interest and viability of the proposal (maximum 3 points). It will be necessary to achieve the minimum rating of 4 points to be awarded a prize.
