AGREEMENT OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD OF NOVEMBER 22, 2023, OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ALMENDRALEJO, BY WHICH THE REGULATORY RULES OF THE CALL FOR AWARDS ARE APPROVED, IN COMPETITIVE CONCURRENCY, FOR THE 2024 CAVALDATE OF THE WIZARDS

Official description of the call

FIRST.- BENEFICIARIES. All natural or legal persons who wish to do so will be recipients, as long as they are of legal age and register, in advance, within the established deadlines. SECOND.- OBJECT. The Almendralejo City Council, with the aim of promoting participation in the Three Kings Parade in Almendralejo 2024, has developed the following protocol, with the purpose of making known the conditions to participate in it and regulating the operation of the organization and carrying out of the activity. Participation in the Three Kings Parade is free. The entity, company or individual will be eligible for a prize from the Almendralejo City Council in the modalities detailed below: - 3 prizes for the best floats. - 6 prizes for the best floats with Christmas motifs. - 12 prizes for participation. THIRD.- AMOUNT AND FINANCING. With the aim of encouraging participation, the Almendralejo City Council will award the following prizes: - First Prize for the best float, in the amount of NINE HUNDRED EUROS GROSS (€900.00), SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY-ONE EUROS NET (€721.00). - Second Prize for the best float, in the amount of EIGHT HUNDRED EUROS GROSS (€800.00), SIX HUNDRED FORTY-EIGHT EUROS NET (€648.00). - Third Prize for the best float, in the amount of SEVEN HUNDRED EUROS GROSS (€700.00), FIVE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SEVEN EUROS NET (€567.00). - Six Prizes for floats with a special parade theme (Birth, Annunciation, King Gaspar, King Melchior, King Baltasar and Royal Postman), each worth SIX HUNDRED FIFTY EUROS GROSS (€650.00), FIVE HUNDRED TWENTY-SIX EUROS AND FIFTY CENTS NET (€526.50). - Twelve minor prizes for floats each amounting to FIVE HUNDRED EUROS GROSS (€500.00), FOUR HUNDRED AND FIVE EUROS NET (€405.00). The maximum amount for the granting of prizes is TWELVE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED euros (€12,300.00), an amount that will be entered in budget item 33800 22698 for the year 2024, in accordance with the provisions of article 56 of Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulations of the Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, on advance processing, which indicates that the call may be approved in a budget year prior to the one in which its resolution will take place. FOURTH.- DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS. The submission of applications can be made through the Citizen Services Office, located at Calle Mérida n.º 11 (Centro Cívico) for natural persons and through the Electronic Office, in the case of entities with legal personality, the deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days from the day of their publication in the Official Gazette of the Province. FIFTH.- OTHER DATA. Applications for participation and annexes will be available on the Almendralejo City Council website (https://www.almendralejo.es).
