Call for the granting of subsidies for the promotion of sports in the modality of promoting school sports during non-school hours, academic year 2023-2024.

Official description of the call

First: Beneficiaries - Sports clubs and sports entities and associations. - The sports federations and the arbitration colleges or respective delegations based in the municipality of Sabadell. - Sports foundations. - The Primary and Secondary Education Centers of the city. - Associations of mothers and fathers of students. - The legally constituted school sports associations of Sabadell. - Other civic entities and non-profit entities that promote the practice of sports and physical activity. In all cases it will be necessary to have a headquarters in the municipality of Sabadell and, where appropriate, be registered in the Registry of entities of the Sabadell City Council. Second: Purpose The purpose of this call is the granting of subsidies on a competitive basis for activities to promote school sports during non-school hours. In accordance with the specific regulatory bases, sports activities for the purposes of these subsidies are understood to be sports initiation activities and/or school games promoted by the Sabadell City Council that take place between September 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024. Third: Regulatory bases This call will be regulated by the Regulatory Bases for the granting of subsidies for sports activities, approved by the City Council on February 28, 2019, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on March 14, 2019. Fourth: Amount The allocation for this call is an estimated maximum total amount of up to €50,000.00, charged to the municipal budget for the year 2025. This amount may be increased up to a total amount of €30,000.00, depending on the availability of budget credit. Fifth: Deadline for submitting applications Applications will be submitted within a period of fifteen business days, counting from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the province of Barcelona, ​​through electronic registration, as well as the other systems provided for in Law 39/2015 of October 1, on the legal regime of public administrations and the common administrative procedure. Applications will be submitted using the model attached to the regulatory bases as Annex 2. When defects or omissions are observed in the applications, or it is considered necessary to expand the information, applicants will be given a period of ten business days to correct the defects or omissions, or expand the information. The deadline for carrying out the activities will be for the 2023/2024 school year, ending on June 30, 2024. The deadline for justifying expenses to obtain payment of the subsidy will be two months from the date of completion of the activity or the publication of the granting resolution in the Official Gazette of the province of Barcelona, ​​if later. Sixth: Other information For the processing of applications, it will be mandatory to provide the documentation provided for in the call and in the approved bases. Likewise, applicants will have to declare that they have a negative certification from the Central Registry of sexual offenders, certifying that the people who perform functions in habitual contact with minors have not been convicted by a final judgment for any crime against sexual freedom and indemnity, which includes sexual assault and abuse, sexual harassment, exhibitionism and sexual provocation, prostitution and sexual exploitation and corruption of minors, as well as trafficking in human beings, in all those cases in which it is legally necessary to dispose of them. If the subsidy awarded exceeds €10,000 in the specified call, the beneficiaries will have to communicate to the Sabadell City Council the information related to the gross remuneration and jointly from the management or administrative bodies of the beneficiary entity, for the purposes of its publication on the City Council's Transparency Portal. In any case, private beneficiaries will have to inform the City Council if during the period of one year they have received other public aid or subsidies for an amount greater than €100,000, or 40% of the entity's total income, if these reach €5,000.00. The publication of the concession resolution will be carried out in the Official Gazette of the province of Barcelona, ​​with the effects
