SUBSIDIES INTENDED TO FINANCE THE ACTIONS TO BE CARRIED OUT WITHIN THE DEMARCATION OF THE BARCELONA DIPUTATION DURING 2024 BY THE FEDERATIONS THAT AGGREGATE ENTITIES DEDICATED TO PROMOTING AND DISSEMINATING POPULAR AND TRADITIONAL CULTURE

Legal entities that must carry out the activity on which they are granted may be beneficiaries of these subsidies, provided that they are not affected by any of the prohibitions contained in art. 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general subsidies (hereinafter LGS), and meet the following conditions: - Federations and coordinators, legally constituted, that have a union of non-profit associations and cultural character. Federation is understood to be the union of associations in accordance with the provisions of article 321-6 of Law 4/2008, of April 24, of the third book of the Civil Code of Catalonia, relating to legal entities. - The cultural nature of the entities must be duly accredited in their statutes. - Have the registered office in the district of the Provincial Council of Barcelona, ​​and that this is stated in its statutes or, have the registered office outside the province of Barcelona as long as the entities that have associates from the Barcelona regions represent at least 50% of its totality. Those federations and coordinators of entities that address cultural aspects in a secondary way in their activities are excluded. Confederations, understood as the third-level entities in which the federations associate and organize, are also excluded from these subsidies. Second. Object. The purpose of this call is to regulate and establish the criteria and procedure for the application, processing, granting, justification and payment of the subsidies granted by the Barcelona Provincial Council through the Cultural Services Management of the Culture Area, intended to finance the actions of the federations that bring together entities dedicated to promoting and disseminating popular and traditional culture, during the year 2024. The bases of this call are integrated into the Provincial Council's Strategic Subsidy Plan of Barcelona for the financial year 2024, and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the aforementioned Plan given that only the organization and/or participation in an activity or various activities within the same popular and traditional culture project in the demarcation of the Barcelona Provincial Council will be subject to subsidy, with links to: - Supporting and/or advising its associates on the promotion of popular and traditional culture. Support for the implementation of online media is included. - Popular and traditional culture activities, in person and in virtual format, carried out and/or planned, such as meetings, conferences, talks, training, workshops, courses and other actions. - Implementation of communication and dissemination tools regarding popular and traditional culture such as publications, studies, web pages and broadcasts of activities on television and online channels. - Projects related to the transformative project “CulturaMent” that promotes the organization of cultural activities aimed at older people with mental illnesses and their families and caregivers. The following activities will not be subject to subsidy: - Outings, trips or exchanges not linked to the purpose of the call. - Departures, trips or exchanges outside the boundaries of the Barcelona Provincial Council, even if they are linked to the purpose of the call. - Popular foods. - Sports, school and children's camp activities. - The major festivals and other festivals of the local festive cycle. - Activities aimed exclusively at commercial or tourist promotion. Third. Regulatory bases. General Ordinance on Subsidies of the Barcelona Provincial Council (Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona of May 9, 2017). Room. Amount. The amount that will be allocated for the granting of the subsidies regulated in this call will be ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND EUROS (150,000.- EUR) charged to the budget application G/40100/33400/48903 for the 2024 budget year, intended to subsidize popular and traditional culture activities.
