Official description of the call

By Mayor's Resolution 2024/0764 dated March 11, 2024, the call for the Ruta de la Tapa Carlet 2024 Contest has been approved. This call will be governed by the General Subsidies Ordinance approved in a plenary session dated January 27, 2022 and its full text published in the BOP of València number 68 dated January 7 April 2022. 1. OBJECTIVES The Carlet City Council, through the Department of Commerce with the collaboration of the Departments of Economy, Youth and the Carlet Comercial association, intend to organize the Tapa Route Contest: Destapate Carlet 2024, with the intention of promoting the municipality and, specifically, the local hospitality and restaurant sector. This call will be governed by the General Subsidies Ordinance approved in a plenary session on January 27, 2022, indicating the requirements that the establishments participating in the Tapa Route: Destapa't Carlet will have to meet. 2.-CELEBRATION DATES The celebration dates of the Tapa Route: Destapa't Carlet will be Friday, April 12, 19 and 26 and Saturday, April 13, 20 and 27, 2024, and participants agree to maintain the tapas offered during the aforementioned period. 3.-PARTICIPATION AND PARTICIPATION RULES All public establishments that meet the following requirements may participate: That they are located in the municipality of Carlet That they are registered in the Census of Taxpayers to provide the service as a bar/restaurant. That they have an open establishment and have requested the corresponding municipal license. That they comply with all requirements established in current regulations regarding health, hygiene, cleanliness and safety. Be up to date with municipal obligations. The public establishment has the obligation to offer tapas to all people, always respecting the right of admission, if it exists. Each establishment will be able to offer two tapas, which will be those that participate in the contest. The preparation, raw materials and creativity of the tapas will be left to the participants' personal and free choice. In the event that establishments that offer ice cream, cocktails or similar participate, these will be accompanied by a small tapa, cookie, etc. The participants accept that the personnel selected by the Carlet City Council will photograph the selected covers to make use of this material in the necessary dissemination to the media and social networks. True information will be provided on the ingredients of the tapas, as well as the origin of the ingredients and possible allergens (lactose, egg...). The price of the tapa plus the stipulated drink (beer, soft drink, water or glass of wine) is the one agreed upon with the participants: €4 4.-PARTICIPATION FEE Participation in the Tapa Route: Destapa't Carlet is free and open. 5.-REGISTRATION AND DEADLINES The deadline to formally request registration in the Tapa Route: Destapa't Carlet will be until April 1 included. This registration can be done directly at the Carlet City Hall offices, by completing a physical form by the business owner or his legal representative with the necessary identification. It will be held at the Carlet Town Hall registry, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 6.-COMMITMENT TO PARTICIPATION No participating establishment can abandon its commitment to participate once the Tapas Route: Destapa't Carlet has started, without express authorization from the organization, and will be obliged to maintain the tapas during the days that this route lasts. Registration implies knowledge and acceptance of these bases. 7.-PRIZES The participation card will be a document in which consumers will be able to see on a map the location of the participating establishments, as well as contact information, the cover offered, schedules, etc. The card will have a space where the consumer can vote for the best tapa and receive the establishment's seal for the subsequent contest, and another space in which the consumer can enter their contact information to be identified at the time of the draw.
