CALL AND SPECIFIC RULES FOR THE RESIDENCE AWARDS FOR CREATION, THOUGHT AND METHODOLOGIES IN LIVE ARTS AND CONTEXTS AT THE OSONA TERRITORIAL HEADQUARTERS OF THE THEATER INSTITUTE 2024.

The full text of the call and the standard application form for the award can be found on the Theater Institute website, section "AWARDS FOR RESIDENCES OF CREATION, THOUGHT AND METHODOLOGIES IN LIVE ARTS AND CONTEXTS AT THE TERRITORIAL HEADQUARTERS OF OSONA". First. Beneficiaries Individuals who are over 18 years of age and who meet at least one of the following requirements may apply for the call: a) Individuals who have graduated or who have achieved all the credits in any specialty from the Higher School of Dramatic Arts (ESAD), the Higher Conservatory of Dance (CSD) or the Professional Conservatory of Dance (CPD) of the Institute. del Teatre or having graduated from one of its Postgraduate or Master's Degrees, without any limitation or temporal conditioning of the year of graduation in any of the cases. Note: it will be possible to apply for the call without meeting the requirement to obtain credits if it is expected that they will be obtained after the end of the application submission date. However, people who do not have a graduation degree or proof of payment thereof or a certificate of achievement of credits at the time the Jury deliberates will be automatically eliminated and will not be able to aspire to participate in the project. In the event of a tie, having the title will always prevail before having only the certificate of achievement of credits. b) Live arts artists and/or other contemporary sectors of the cultural fabric of the Osona region who prove that they are living and working on live arts projects in the territory at the time of making the request. Second. Project requirements a. Only one project may be submitted per natural person and on an individual basis, with no express obligation to have legal personality, a fact that does not mean that it cannot be submitted with a work team assigned to the project. b. The projects must be unpublished and must not have been awarded in any category of previous calls. c. The project must have a tangible purpose and must be viable in its hypothetical materialization regardless of its format: scenic, practical, theoretical, process sample, writing, etc. In any case, the project must always be susceptible to being shared, advertised or exhibited, using the format considered most appropriate to do so. d. The following projects are excluded from these rules: - Research projects that are framed within the academic curriculum of the applicant (theses, dissertations, doctorates, master's degrees, etc.). - Projects linked to the final work of a Degree or Postgraduate degree in progress. - Projects linked to the audiovisual industry. - Projects already published on any medium. Third. Purpose The purpose of this call is to regulate and establish the criteria and procedure for the application, processing, granting and payment of the Residency Awards for creation, thought and methodologies in Live Arts and Contexts at the territorial headquarters of Osona 2024. These awards are part of the actions of the Institut del Teatre for: a) Supporting the artistic creation of adult graduates of the Schools of the Institut del Teatre, Escuela Superior de Arte Dramatic (ESAD), Higher Conservatory of Dance (CSD) and Professional Conservatory of Dance (CPD), to people with Postgraduate or Master's degrees from the Institut del Teatre. b) Articulate a territorial action program, supporting live arts artists and/or other contemporary sectors, who currently live and work in the Osona region and who are interested in linking with the territorial headquarters of the Institut del Teatre located in Vic. Cuarto. Prize amount The prize consists of: a. An economic endowment. The maximum total financial allocation of the Residency Awards for creation, thought and methodologies in Live Arts and Contexts at the territorial headquarters of Osona for the 2024 call (single call) is EIGHT THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND NINETY TWO EUROS (€8,992.00). Budget year 2024 Amount €8,992.00 The total of this amount will be divided into 4 individual prizes at a rate of €2,248.00 each prize, which are grouped into 2 categories: - 2 individual prizes of TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FORTY-EIGHT EUROS (€2,248.00) each for one person
