Official description of the call
1. Purpose of the subsidy. In accordance with the provisions of article 23.2 of the LGS and Annex I of the Bases that regulate the subsidy, this City Council proceeds to make the call for the granting of subsidies for the learning of Basque in a barnetegi or in a euskaltegi that is not the Municipal Euskaltegi of Elgoibar. 2. Requirements to apply for the subsidy Specifically, natural persons who meet the following requirements will be able to access these subsidies, provided that they do not incur any of the prohibitions established in article 13 of the LGS: Be registered in Elgoibar from the moment registration is formalized at the euskaltegi and until the subsidy application is resolved, or with a minimum of two months prior to the start date of the stay at the barnetegi and until the resolution of the grant application. As for the courses in a barnetegi, being studying, unemployed; or be a pensioner or retired person. 3. Subsidy amount Amount: €3,000 4. Deadline and place for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications to obtain subsidies, addressed to the convening body and signed by the beneficiary or person representing him/her, along with the attached documentation, will be from the day following the publication of the announcement of this call in the Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa (BOG) until September 13. Applications will be delivered electronically or in person at the Citizen Services Office (Santa Ana kalea, no. 2). The bases and the standardized application form are available in the Basque Department of the City Council, euskara@elgoibar.eus, and on the official website of the Elgoibar City Council www.elgoibar.eus.
