Agreement AC0000021322 of April 24, 2024, of the Island Government Council, by which subsidies are called for the creation of new industrial projects -SMEs and the self-employed-, corresponding to the year 2024.

Official description of the call

First. - Beneficiaries: They may have the status of persons or entities beneficiaries of these subsidies, as long as their activity is industrial, they have started it and have been registered or established (depending on the type of applicant) between June 1, 2023 and September 30, 2024, always prior to the date of submission of the application and comply with the requirements established in the Regulatory Bases, the following: Natural persons under the legal form of “Entrepreneur Individual”, who pay taxes in the so-called “Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers” (RETA). Legal entities called Public Limited Companies and Limited Liability Companies (SLNE, SL Unipersonal or SL) that pay corporate tax, as long as their share capital is owned at least 75% by natural persons, who meet the requirements of Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014, of the Commission, of June 17, 2014, which declares certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of articles 107 and 108 of the treaty (OJEU no. 187, of 26.6.14) to be defined as SMEs or Microenterprises. Second. - Purpose: Establish the rules that must govern the granting of subsidies, under a competitive and direct concession regime, intended to cover the investments and/or expenses necessary for the creation of new industrial projects, by natural persons (self-employed workers, such as self-employed) or legal entities in the form of Public Limited Companies or Limited Liability Companies (SLNE, Unipersonal SL or SL). The creation of a new industrial project will be understood to be one carried out by natural persons (self-employed, self-employed) or legal entities in the form of Public Limited Companies or Limited Liability Companies (SLNE, SL Unipersonal or SL), which constitute an SME or Microenterprise with registered office and tax/residence on the island of Tenerife in the sectors of industrial economic activity and that meet the requirements that will be established in the Regulatory Bases. Third. - Regulatory Bases: The regulatory Bases of this call were approved by agreement of the Island Government Council held on April 24, 2024. Fourth. - Amount: The budgetary credit approved for this call amounts to FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (€500,000.00), corresponding to the 2024 annuity, declared as expandable by up to another ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (€100,000.00) depending on the availability of credit as a consequence of any of the regulatory circumstances established. The amount of the subsidy will depend on the specific circumstances that occur in each applicant (occurrence of a certain situation) and the investments and/or expenses that are accredited and justified along with the application, establishing the maximum amount of the subsidy to be awarded as THIRTY ML EUROS (€30,000.00). Fifth. - Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be from the day following the publication of the call until October 31, 2024 or when the credit is exhausted, if this happens before that date. Sixth. - Deadline for justifying the grants awarded: Application and justification will be submitted at the same time. The eligible expenses included in Regulatory Base No. 5 will be justified by providing, at the time of submitting the subsidy application, the documentation that is included in point 3 of Annex I regarding the documentation to be provided. COMPUTABLE PERIOD OF EXPENSES: Between June 1, 2023 and October 31, 2024. Seventh. - Payment: The payment of the subsidy will be made after justification (which must be submitted together with the application) by the beneficiary person or entity of the requirements that prove that they are in a certain situation, in the terms established in the Bases. Eighth. - Other information: Applications will be formalized in the official standardized model specifically prepared by the Island Council of Tenerife, which is available to interested parties in the electronic headquarters (https://sede.tenerife.es), section "Procedures and Services".
