1st edition of the UV AIMPLAS Chair award for the best final degree and master's thesis on Sustainability and Circular Economy in the Plastics Sector

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries: Students or graduates of any official degree from Spanish universities who have presented their final degree project (TFG) or final master's project (TFM) during the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 academic years, on aspects linked to the field of Sustainability and Circular Economy in the plastics sector, can participate. It will be a requirement to have obtained a score equal to or greater than 8.5 in the assessment of the TFG or TFM. Furthermore, it will be a requirement of the call that the works have not previously been awarded by this chair in a previous call for TFG-TFM awards. People who participate must present the form indicated in ANNEX III, which includes the fundamental aspects of the work, and the impact it may have in terms of sustainability. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this competition is to award the best academic final degree project (TFG), or final master's project (TFM), carried out by students or graduates during the 2022-23 and 2023-24 academic years who present a candidacy for this call. The purpose of this award is to promote talent among university students through studies and research on Sustainability and Circularity in the Plastics Sector. Third. Regulatory bases: The call is published at the following url: https://ir.uv.es/m3GS6Ac Fourth. Amount: The following awards and honorable mentions are established under specific 20231027 for a total of 1,750 euros. 1 First Prize for the best TFG or TFM, for an amount of €1000 1 Second Prize for the best TFG or TFM, for an amount of €500 1 Third Prize for the best TFG or TFM, for an amount of €250. 7 Honorable Mentions for the best TFG or TFM. Income tax withholding will be applied to the monetary prize, corresponding to current regulations. This award is compatible with other subsidies, aid, income or resources for the same purpose. Fifth. Application submission period: The application submission period will be from June 1, 2024 to October 15, 2024.
