Official description of the call
1. Purpose of the subsidy. The purpose of these rules is to regulate aid for humanitarian or emergency actions aimed at people and communities affected by emergency or disaster situations, caused by natural disasters, armed conflicts or other comparable circumstances. The activities will be carried out in relation to the degree of need of the victims, leaving aside political considerations, economic interests or any negative discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, age or political affiliation. 2. Requirements to apply for the subsidy Any non-governmental organization or institution with legal personality, not for profit, such as Non-Governmental Development Organizations (NGDOs) or religious congregations whose activity coincides with the purpose of this call and that have their headquarters or permanent delegation (must be justified) in the CAPV, may apply for the subsidies established in these Bases, which assumes direct responsibility for the presentation of the application and is committed to maintaining the accounting, documentation and co-management of the project in its office in the CAPV. Institutions or services dependent on the State, the Autonomous Administration, the Provincial Council and Savings Entities are expressly excluded from accessing this call. Nor may subsidies be granted to entities that are not up to date with the Beasain City Council (financial debts, insufficient justification of subsidies granted in previous calls...) 3. Amount of the subsidy Each applicant entity may only submit a single project. A maximum of €20,000 will be subsidized per project and its execution must begin and end in 2024. The amount that can be used to finance expatriate personnel (including travel, subsistence allowances, etc.) will be a maximum of 10% of the subsidy requested and granted and that allocated to indirect expenses 7%. 4. Deadline and place for submitting applications The bases will be sent to the BDNS and the deadline for submitting applications will begin on the day following the day of publication in the BOG, which will end on 08-31-2024. Applications will be submitted electronically to the Beasain City Council at the following address: www.beasain.eus
