Call subv. competitive competition intended for City Councils to finance SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION course 24-25

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/index): Object, conditions and purpose of the granting of the subsidy. The purpose of this call is to subsidize: - Town councils (excluding minor local entities) of the province of Valencia, where classrooms of Grouped Rural Schools (CRA) are located, to finance the school transport of students who require school transport and do not meet the requirements to be beneficiaries of the school transport service in its collective school transport modality. - City councils (excluding minor local entities) of municipalities in the province of Valencia, in which there is no educational center supported by public funds, and the students residing therein have the right to the provision of collective school transport in the form of individual school transport aid, to finance the school transport of the students to the center to which they are assigned. Regulatory bases.- This call is governed by the provisions of the General Subsidy Ordinance of the Most Excellent Provincial Council of Valencia, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia, number 107, of June 5, 2023. Budgetary credits to which the subsidy is attributed and maximum total amount.- They will be financed by the application 706 414.00 462.00 of the Provincial Council's expenses budget for 2024, with a maximum estimated amount of 50,000 euros. Eligible activities.- Eligible activities are: - Transportation of students enrolled in the classroom (belonging to a CRA) of the municipality, who reside in municipalities that are no more than 30 kilometers from the classroom, and who do not meet the requirements to be entitled to the collective school transportation service financed by the Department with jurisdiction in education. - Transportation of students who are entitled to it in the form of individual school transportation aid, because they cannot be included in any of the authorized collective transportation routes Beneficiaries. - City councils of the province of Valencia, with the exception of minor local entities, where classrooms of Grouped Rural Schools (CRA) are located - City councils of the province of Valencia, with the exception of minor local entities, with students registered in their municipality who travel to the assigned school in another municipality or in another population center, being therefore potential recipients of individual transport aid. Entities in which any of the circumstances provided for in art. 13 of the General Law of Subsidies, nor those that are indebted to the Most Excellent Provincial Council of Valencia or its dependent entities in the terms expressed in the General Ordinance of Subsidies of the Most Excellent Provincial Council of Valencia. Compatibility.- This subsidy is compatible with the receipt of other subsidies, aid, income or resources for the same purpose from any other administration or public or private entity. The subsidy awarded in this call, alone or in conjunction with other subsidies, may not exceed the cost of the subsidized activity. Amount.- The amount of the subsidy may reach up to 100% of the eligible cost of the applications submitted, with a maximum of 8,000 euros per recipient. Concession procedure.- This call is governed by the competitive bidding procedure and will be prepayable. Deadline for submitting applications.- 15 calendar days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia. The request will be made through the "City Council Folder", using the forms available on said electronic platform and the required complementary documentation.
