Official description of the call
First. Purpose The purpose of this call is to grant, on a competitive basis, financial aid to associations and non-profit entities, constituted as such, that have among their objectives the functions of protection and conservation of animals in general, for the development of control and care actions for feline colonies in the street, basically consisting of the capture, sterilization and return of feral cats in the municipality of Calvià. Second. Beneficiaries Associations and non-profit entities that, meeting the requirements and purpose of this call, promote the control and care of feral cat colonies, and whose scope of action is the municipality of Calvià, may be beneficiaries. Entities in which any of the prohibitions established in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies apply, will not be able to benefit from the aid provided for in this call. Third. Regulatory bases Regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for associations and other non-profit entities that develop control and sterilization programs for feline colonies in the municipality of Calvià, year 2024, published in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands No. 45 of April 4, 2024. Fourth. Amount The budget allocation for this call is twenty-nine thousand five hundred euros (€29,500.00) for the year 2024, charged to municipal budget item 302.17300.4800000. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications is twenty calendar days from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands.
