Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Any person who is the author of a monographic publication focused on a topic related to gender equality and published after January 1, 2020 may participate in the 1st Edition of the Càtedra de Dona i Esport awards for the best monographic publication related to the field of training and/or sports performance and gender equality in the field of physical activity and sport. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this call is to award the best monographic publication published after January 1, 2020 and that is nominated for the 1st edition of the Cátedra Dona i Esport Awards of the University of Valencia. The content of the publication must be oriented towards the theme of gender equality and physical activity, exercise and/or sport and must be related to the field of training and/or sports performance. The purpose of the award is to give visibility and encourage the dissemination of monographic publications related to gender equality in sports and physical activity. Third. Regulatory bases: The call is published at the following url: https://ir.uv.es/9aUnXt2 Fourth. Amount: The awards are financed by chapter VII of the budget of the Chair of Gift and Sports of the University of Valencia for the year 2024, organic 9290162768 and specific 20220470, for an amount of one thousand euros (€1,000). The following prizes will be awarded: First prize: worth €1,000 Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting the work will be the day after the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana until September 15, 2024.
