Promotion of digital technologies and visibility of the technological sector of Girona

Official description of the call

First.- Beneficiaries Associations of Girona that wish to carry out actions to promote digital technologies and that meet the requirements indicated in the bases. Second.- Purpose of the subsidy To finance initiatives carried out by associations in Girona representative of the digital technologies sector, whose objective is the promotion of digital technologies and the visibility of the technological sector in Girona as an element of competitiveness and innovation. Third.- Regulatory bases Approved by the Plenary Session of the Girona City Council, in the session dated April 12, 2021. Fourth.- Funding and amount of the subsidy The budgetary allocation for this call for subsidies for the year 2024 is eighteen thousand five hundred euros (€18,500.00), charged to budget item 201 43300 48001 Promotion of new technologies, without prejudice to being able to increase the endowment to an additional amount that will not require a new call. The amount of the subsidy will be 100% of the cost of the action. The aid requested by the entities must be for a minimum amount of one thousand euros (€1,000.00). The subsidy will be for a maximum of seven thousand euros (€7,000.00) per association. Fifth.- Payment method and advance Payment of the subsidy will be made once justified. It is possible for beneficiary entities to request payment of the subsidy through an advance payment of 100% of the amount granted, within a maximum period of two months from its granting. Prior to recognizing the obligation of each of the payments, the examining body will verify ex officio whether the beneficiary entity is up to date with its tax and Social Security obligations. Signing the grant application implies authorization to carry out the verification. Sixth.- Eligible period Eligible expenses will be considered those that respond to actions that have been carried out between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024. Seventh.- Deadline and form of justification The entity must present the justification of the subsidy granted, based on the status of the activities subject to subsidy within the maximum period of: - For unfinished activities, three months from the date of completion of the subsidized activities and as maximum March 31 of the year following the year in which the request was resolved. - For those activities already completed and executed, three months from the date of notification of the grant resolution. Eighth.- Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will begin the day after the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona, through the National Subsidies Database (BDNS) and will end after 20 business days. The call will be unique.
