2024 aid to women, to facilitate the comprehensive recovery of women victims of gender violence, according to resolution May 29, 2024

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.qob.es/bdnstrans/index) and in the Official Gazette of Extremadura. FIRST. BENEFICIARIES. Women victims of gender violence who are in a situation of economic vulnerability in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura may be beneficiaries, and meet the requirements set forth in article 2 of Decree 97/2018, of June 26, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid to facilitate the comprehensive recovery of women victims of gender violence (D.O.E no. 127, of July 2). SECOND. OBJECT. Call for aid to facilitate the psychosocial recovery process and support the independence of women victims of gender violence in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, allowing them to overcome the cycle of violence, for the year 2024. THIRD. REGULATORY BASES. The call will be governed by the rules contained in Decree 97/2018, of June 26, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid to facilitate the comprehensive recovery of women victims of gender violence (DOE no. 127, of July 2). Article 7 of the aforementioned bases regulates the procedure for granting and calling for aid, which establishes that it will be granted directly through an open call since it is social aid aimed at a vulnerable group whose characteristics are predefined, whose potential beneficiaries can meet the requirements demanded in these regulatory bases at any period of the year and who constitute an indeterminate plurality of people who require an agile and immediate response that can only be provided through the use of this type of procedures. Likewise, this call for aid includes the provisions contained in Laws 4/2022, of July 27, on administrative rationalization and simplification of Extremadura and 5/2022, of November 25, on measures to improve the processes of administrative response to citizens and for the useful provision of public services, which affect the administrative procedures that govern the granting of subsidies. ROOM. AMOUNT. The amount of the aid will be equivalent to the expense that is intended to be covered with the granting of the subsidy, and will be contemplated in the report referred to in article 2 e) of Decree 97/2018, of June 26, without exceeding 5,000 euros per beneficiary. The payment of the aid will be made in a single payment, once the granting resolution has been issued. The budget allocated to the execution of the call amounts to an amount of 1,759,773 euros, financed from budget application 02101/253A/48000, financing fund TE25006001 and project 20190446 called “STATE PACT AGAINST GENDER VIOLENCE”. FIFTH. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS. Applications for aid may be submitted from the day following the publication of the call and this extract in the Official Gazette of Extremadura until November 15, 2024. SIXTH. OTHER DATA. The beneficiaries of the aid, given the object and purpose of the aid, are exempt from the constitution of guarantees for the advance or advance payments made. Once this aid has been granted, applicants may again be beneficiaries of the aid in two other calls after the one initially granted.
