Extract of the Call, of May 24, 2024, for the renewal of Excellence Scholarships of the Social Council for the academic year 2024/25 BDNS: 765437 In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First. Beneficiaries. Two university students who have already accessed it in the previous academic year and meet the requirements established below may request renewal of the Social Council's excellence scholarship: Enroll in at least 60 credits, keeping in mind the regulation of the different degrees. Have passed all the subjects enrolled in the 2023/2024 academic year in any of its calls. Having obtained an average grade of 7.5 points in the studies completed the previous year, except for Technical Education and Architecture, which will have a corrective coefficient of 1.17 applied. To calculate the average grade, the grade obtained in each subject will be weighted based on the number of credits that comprise it according to the following formula: V = (P x Nca)/Nct V = Value resulting from the weighting of the average grade obtained in each subject. P = Score for each subject. Nca = Number of credits that make up the subject. Nct = Number of credits enrolled in the course being scaled. Second. Object. Facilitate the development of university studies for students with excellent academic achievement, who were beneficiaries in previous courses. Third. Regulatory bases. Information regarding the call can be found on the university website www.uah.es Fourth. Amount. The scholarship will have the following components: students who stay at the CRUSA University Residential City of the University of Alcalá, during the duration of the course in which they have obtained the scholarship, will be exempt from paying the corresponding monthly fees; They will also be exempt from paying the public prices corresponding to the studies for which they have been awarded a scholarship and will receive cash aid that will amount to a total of 3,600 euros, which will be paid in quarterly installments into the bank account provided by the beneficiary. Likewise, the waiver by the scholarship recipient of any of the benefits established in the previous paragraph will not, in any case, imply a correlative increase in the amounts assigned to the remaining benefits. The maximum total amount allocated to this call is 13,500 euros. Fifth. Deadline and submission of applications. The bases of the call, as well as the form to request these grants, can be obtained at the Internet address www.uah.es in the Scholarships and Grants section. The deadline for submitting applications is between June 17 and 28, 2024, both inclusive, and must be done following the rules and procedures established by the General Registry of the University of Alcalá.
