2024 call for aid for stays in foreign centers and universities for beneficiaries of predoctoral contracts of the University of La Laguna

Official description of the call

First: Purpose The granting of aid under a competitive regime for carrying out stays in research centers or foreign universities with the aim of promoting the internationalization of doctoral training. Second: Beneficiaries People with a predoctoral contract with the University of La Laguna may apply for aid. Third: Amount and financing of the call The maximum credit provided for this call is 80,000 euros, an amount that will be financed from the funds granted to the University of La Laguna by Order of November 6, 2023 of the Minister of Universities, by which the Canary Public Universities are granted scholarships and aid for the training, improvement and mobility of the teaching staff of the Canary Public Universities provided for in the Law 31/2022, of December 23, of the General State Budgets for the year 2023, budget application 1804032326 541C0V 64020. Fourth. Amount of aid a) Stay expenses at the receiving center: 2,400 euros/month. b) Travel: Depending on the location of the receiving center, the following amounts are established: Europe: 600 euros Rest of the world: 1,200 euros c) Formalization of an insurance policy for countries without Spanish social security coverage or when the coverage of the existing concert is insufficient: 300 euros. Fifth: Duration of stays Stays will last three months. Sixth: Period for execution of stays Stays that have been carried out or will be carried out in the period from November 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024 will be financed. Seven: Presentation of applications The deadline for the presentation of applications will be ten (10) business days counted from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands. Aid requests will be submitted through the procedure enabled in the ULL Electronic Office. Eighth: Other data The maximum total amount of aid may be increased in view of the applications submitted provided that the declaration of available credits and the final distribution is published, in the same media as the call, prior to the granting resolution, without such publication implying the opening of the deadline for the presentation of new applications or the start of a new calculation of the deadline for resolution.
