Official description of the call

Extract from the agreement of the Island Government Council of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, of June 11, 2024, which approves the "Public Call for Generic Subsidies under a competitive competition regime in the field of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of Fuerteventura, annuality 2024, for the Livestock Health Defense Groups of Fuerteventura", of the Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Area of the Fuerteventura Island Council. First. Beneficiaries. The following beneficiaries may apply for the subsidies established in this call: Livestock Health Defense Groups based in Fuerteventura (ADSG) that carry out technical health assistance work for their members, advice and development of plans or programs for collective health improvement. Second. Object. Subsidies to Livestock Sanitary Defense Groups that enable the application of common sanitary programs and measures to the island livestock farms grouped in these associations, financing, in addition to their general operating expenses, transportation of personnel to apply the indicated measures. The aim is to improve the health of herds and consequently livestock production, reduce casualties, lower health risks for farmers and the population in general, and healthier products with less risk for consumers. The aid will be granted based on the number of cattle in the ADSG and the health actions applied. 1. Deadline for execution of the actions or activities subject to the subsidies: fiscal year 2024. 2. These bases will be published on the electronic notice board or edicts of the Electronic Headquarters and on the website of the Excmo. Island Council of Fuerteventura. Third. Regulatory Bases. The Regulatory Bases of this public call for Subsidies in the field of Agriculture, Livestock and Fishing for the Livestock Health Defense Groups of the island of Fuerteventura, 2024 annuity to be granted on a competitive basis by the Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Service of the Island Council of Fuerteventura, were approved by ordinary plenary agreement on September 24, 2021 and published in the BOP of Las Palmas No. 117, of September 29, 2021. Fourth. Amount. The total amount of credit available from this public call for subsidies amounts to SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND EUROS (¿75,000.00). Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications together with the required documentation will be TEN DAYS, with the deadline being effective from the day following the day on which the extract of the bases is published in the "Official Gazette" of the Province of Las Palmas carried out through the National Subsidies Database (BDNS), on the electronic notice board or edicts of the Electronic Headquarters and on the website of the Hon. Island Council of Fuerteventura. Sixth. Other data.
