The competition aims to encourage the leadership of rural women in the management of new, original and innovative agricultural or agri-food crops and processes and actions by recognizing their work and their role in rural areas, as well as promoting their incorporation and employment in the territory. 2. This document establishes the conditions for the granting, on a competitive basis, of awards for the professional career of rural women that recognize their work in the territory in such a way that: a) The incorporation of women into the rural productive system under conditions of leadership is promoted. b) The agri-food sector is diversified and job creation is encouraged. c) Disused spaces/plots located in the beneficiary territory are recovered. d) The performance of farms and the quality of agricultural products is improved. e) Productions are adapted to market demand. f) Encourage incorporation into the agri-food sector among the young or unemployed population. 3. In the professional career, the development of projects related to agricultural and/or agri-food production that use technologies or processes that result in the advancement of a sustainable, ecological sector, efficient in obtaining quality products, that responds to the demand of consumers and that can integrate marketing and promotion strategies, will be valued. 4. Candidates of this call who have been awarded in previous editions may not be awarded. Legal Regime. General subsidy ordinance of the Provincial Council of Huelva. (BOP no. 136 of July 18, 2016). (See more point 3 of the call). Beneficiaries. 1. Women from rural areas who are registered in the municipalities or in the Autonomous Local Entities (ELA) of the province of Huelva may present candidatures. 2. Likewise, those companies and business institutions or associations belonging to the agri-food sector that deem it appropriate may submit candidatures. 3. It is intended for rural women who, meeting the requirements set out in the call, have implemented innovative crops or processes in the agricultural or agri-food field in the territory that have been operating for at least one year, counting from the date on which this call for awards is published and that said activities last until the date of the award. Total budget, awards and budget application. 1. €11,000.00 are established distributed in five prizes: €4,000.00 for the first, €2,500.00 for the second and three prizes of €1,500.00 each for the third. 2. The above amounts will be allocated to the budget application 33302 41000 47902. (See more point 5 of the call). Selection procedure. A selection procedure is established that will be carried out on a competitive basis in accordance with the provisions of article 22 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Submission of applications and deadlines. 1. Interested persons may present their candidatures within 20 business days from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province. 2. Applications will be submitted in accordance with the model of this call, Annex I, accompanied by the specific documentation established. 3. No application will be accepted with a date before or after the deadline indicated in this call. 4. Applications will be submitted through the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council (https://sede.diphuelva.es) by accessing the Contests and Awards procedures and completing the fields outlined in Annex I. The documents that are incorporated must be in PDF format, in accordance with the technical requirements.
