Official description of the call
First- Beneficiaries: The following will be eligible for the subsidies of this call: a) The clubs and sports sections registered in the Andalusian Registry of Sports Entities of the Junta de Andalucía, with registered office in the municipality of Almería and registered in the Municipal Registry of Citizen Entities of the Almería City Council. b) Sports Federations to carry out activities that can be framed within a mutual collaboration program and when the project they present is developed in the municipality of Almería. c) Non-profit legal entities, only and exclusively for the modality Mod B) Participation activities. Entities that meet any of the circumstances provided for in article 13 of the LGS and 5 of the General Subsidy Ordinance may not obtain the status of beneficiary of subsidies. Second - Purpose: The purpose of this call is to develop programs or activities that complement those attributed to local competition in sports matters and that contribute to the achievement of one of the main purposes of the Municipal Sports Board that, according to art 2.1 of its Statutes, is the promotion of sports and the development of the physical culture of the population of the municipality, particularly in its aspect of amateur sports. Third- Regulatory Bases: The Bases that must govern the public call for granting subsidies to Sports Entities for the 2024 financial year of the Municipal Sports Board of the Hon. Almería City Council, will be those approved in the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Almería City Council and its Autonomous Bodies, published in the Official Gazette of the Province number 197 of 10/13/2022 Fourth- Amount: The amount of the maximum amount of the Call amounts to the amount of €300,000 Fifth- Deadline for Submission of Applications: Twenty (20) calendar days counted from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Almería, carried out through the National Subsidies Base (BDNS). However, when the period ends on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, it will be deemed extended to the first following business day. Applications submitted outside the established deadline will not be accepted for processing. Sixth. Other information: Subsidy applications and their subsequent justification will be submitted electronically with an electronic signature, through the standardized annexes of the 2024 call, which are published on the PMD WEB page https://www.almeriaciudad.es/tablon-de-anuncios?type=All&area=32
