Subsidies to support the relocation or expansion/modernization of companies in Eibar

Official description of the call

1. Purpose of the subsidy. In accordance with the provisions of article 23.2 of the LGS, this City Council proceeds to make the call for the granting of subsidies aimed at supporting the consolidation of companies, for relocation to/in Eibar or expansion/modernization of facilities within Eibar. 2. Requirements to apply for the subsidy The beneficiaries must not be serving an administrative or criminal sanction for incurring discrimination based on sex or be sanctioned under the law for the Equality of Women and Men. Companies with public participation, Public Companies, public law entities, foundations and non-profit associations will be excluded from the possibility of obtaining these subsidies, except for those that have been recognized as an insertion company by the Basque Government and are registered in its registry of insertion companies, as long as they are newly created. In turn, companies dedicated to: - Sale of tobacco are excluded. - Gas stations. - Recreational, gaming and betting rooms. - Large commercial and food chains. Natural persons, legal entities, civil societies and communities of property that do not fall under any of the prohibitions established in article 13.2 of the LGS may access this subsidy. They must also meet the following requirements: a) That the work center is in Eibar. b) Have moved or expanded/modernized the company's facilities within the municipality of Eibar or have moved to/in Eibar between January 1 and December 31, 2024. c) Be registered with the IAE before January 31, 2023. 3. Subsidy amount €60,000 4. Deadline and place for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications to obtain targeted subsidies to the convening body and subscribed by the beneficiary or person representing him/her, together with the attached documentation, will begin the day after the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa and will end on October 31, 2024 (inclusive). Only one application can be submitted per company. Subsidy applications must be made electronically through the municipal website, www.eibar.eus. To carry out the procedure electronically, it is necessary to have a digital certificate (B@K-Q, electronic DNI, IZENPE card, etc.).
