Presidency Resolution 2024/5426 of August 9 approving the Call for grants to support self-employed people, entrepreneurial professionals and companies, talent recovery and return, 2024.

Official description of the call

First. Object. 1. Support self-employed people, professionals, entrepreneurs and companies (understood as commercial entities for profit, including in this regard work cooperatives) for the recovery of talent and the return to municipalities of less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province of Malaga, through this call for the granting of subsidies under a competitive competition regime. 2. The subsidies are aimed at financing the following lines: a. Line 1: the return of self-employed people, professionals, entrepreneurs and companies linked to municipalities of less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province of Malaga so that they can develop their economic activity or business projects. b. Line 2: the recovery of talent through the hiring of people with qualified profiles linked to municipalities of less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province of Malaga. Second. Regulatory Bases. The regulatory bases of the Provincial Council of Málaga for the granting of subsidies, under a competitive competition regime, for the promotion of employability and entrepreneurship, approved by the Plenary Session of the Provincial Council of Málaga, in an ordinary session held on March 20, 2024, at point 0.1.1, Annex V.4, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Málaga No. 83, of April 30, 2024. Third. Beneficiaries and requirements. 1. They may apply for the subsidy that is the subject of this call, and obtain the status of beneficiaries: a. Line 1: self-employed persons, professionals, entrepreneurs and companies linked to municipalities of less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province of Malaga who, residing or with a registered office or tax address, or workplace, outside of them, wish to return or have returned to any municipality of less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province for the development of their economic activity or new business projects. b. Line 2: self-employed persons and professionals with economic activity, or companies with registered or fiscal domicile, or work center, in municipalities of less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province of Malaga who hire people with qualified profiles for a minimum period of 12 months, prove links with any municipality of less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province, and return to reside or work in these municipalities. 2. Requirements of applicants: 2.1 Depending on the line of subsidy requested, applicants must meet the following requirements: a. Line 1: 1. In the case of self-employed persons, professionals, and entrepreneurs, reside and/or have the tax domicile or economic activity outside of municipalities of less than 20,000 inhabitants of the province of Malaga (province of Malaga with a population greater than 20,000 inhabitants, or in any municipality, without distinction of inhabitants, of another province or state) prior to the time of submitting the subsidy application, who wish to return or have returned to these municipalities between January 1, 2024 and the date of submission of the application, in order to develop their economic activity or new business projects, and there must be a connection with these municipalities. 2. In the case of companies, the registered office or fiscal address, or the work center, must be located outside of municipalities of less than 20,000 inhabitants of the province of Malaga (province of Malaga with a population greater than 20,000 inhabitants, or in any municipality, without distinction of inhabitants, of another province or state), prior to the time of submitting the subsidy application or that have returned to these municipalities between January 1, 2024 and the date of submission of the application, in order to develop a new economic activity or business project, and there must be a connection with these municipalities of at least one partner of the company. 3. It will be understood that there is a link with municipalities of less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province of Malaga when any of the following circumstances occur: a. For self-employed, professional, and entrepreneurial people: having been registered in a municipality of less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province of Malaga for a minimum of 3 years. b. For companies: at least one partner of the company has been registered in a municipality of less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province of Malaga.
