Presidency Resolution 2024/5629 of August 23 approving the Call for the granting of the First Prize for entrepreneurship in the educational field "Málaga Crece" of the Provincial Council of Málaga, annual 2024.

Official description of the call

First. Regulatory standard. The Regulatory Bases of the Provincial Council of Málaga for the granting of Awards for the promotion of Employability and Entrepreneurship, approved by the Plenary Session of the Provincial Council of Málaga, in an ordinary session held on March 20, 2024, to point 0.1.1, Annex V.3, of the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Provincial Council of Málaga, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Málaga No. 83, of April 30, 2024. Failing that, the provisions of the precepts of the aforementioned ordinance will apply, as well as the provisions of Law 38/2003 of November 17, and in Royal Decree 887/2006 of July 21, which approves the Regulation of Law 38/2003. Second. Purpose The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of the I Prize for Acceleration and Consolidation of Innovative Entrepreneurship Ideas of the Provincial Council of Malaga. “The I Prize for entrepreneurship in the educational field “Málaga Crece” of the Provincial Council of Málaga” (hereinafter I Málaga Crece Prize) has as its main objective to promote the entrepreneurial spirit among young people who are studying compulsory secondary education in the institutes and secondary education centers of the municipalities of less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province of Málaga, rewarding projects of new business models for the development of municipalities of less than 20,000 inhabitants. The purposes of this Award are: - Awaken the interest of young people towards the world of entrepreneurship. - Motivate social innovation and social entrepreneurship as a tool to face the demographic challenge in the province. - Promote the creation and innovation of viable and sustainable business ideas to develop in municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province of Malaga. - Develop new business models in terms of sustainability or social impact, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), allowing them to learn in a different way and in contact with reality. Third. Requirements of the participants Young people who are studying Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) in the institutes and secondary education centers of the municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants located in the province of Malaga, and present original, creative, innovative projects that provide viable and sustainable business ideas that respond to real demands of society to develop in municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province of Malaga and are not subject to any of the prohibition causes to access the status of beneficiary established in sections 2 and 3 of article 13 of Law 39/2015 of October 1, General Law of Subsidies. Room. Application, deadline and form of presentation. Young students of Compulsory Secondary Education in secondary education institutes and educational centers in municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province of Málaga, interested in participating in the call for the 1st “Málaga Crece” Award, must fill out the corresponding application and present it by any of the means established in article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, accompanying the documentation indicated in article 6 of this call. The application must be duly completed in all its sections and signed by the interested person or, in the case of minors, by their legal representatives: father, mother or legal guardian, according to a standard model. The deadline for submitting applications will be from October 14 to October 18 (both inclusive) of 2024. The submission of applications, with the documentation provided for in this call, will be carried out by any of the means established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations: a) In the electronic Registry of the Provincial Council of Malaga, accessible through the electronic headquarters at the link https://sede.malaga.es/registro-electronico/ b) In the common electronic Registry, accessible on the website https://rec.redsara.es/registro/action/are/acceso.do by selecting after starting the process
