Aid for the establishment of young and new farmers in Cantabria in 2024

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. 1. Persons who intend to set up for the first time on an agricultural holding as a natural person or in the form of a legal entity, or other forms without legal personality, such as shared ownership or co-ownership, who present a business plan in accordance with the provisions of article 8, in addition to the remaining requirements established in article 4 of order DES/23/2024 of July 10, regulating the bases of this aid, may be beneficiaries of the aid contemplated in this call. and with the limitations contemplated in the same article. 2. The same applicant will be considered when the young or new farmer settles in the legal entity beneficiary of the aid. 3. The beneficiary farms will comply with the definition of microenterprise and small business. Second. Object. 1. Call for the year 2024, under a competitive competition regime, aid for the establishment of young farmers in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, as well as aid for the establishment of new farmers in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria in accordance with order DES/23/2024 of July 10, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid for the establishment of young and new farmers in Cantabria (BOC of July 18, 2024) and Cantabria Law 10/2006, of July 17, on Cantabria Subsidies, all within the framework established in the PEPAC for the period 2023-2027. 2. The purpose of the aid is to contribute to the improvement of the life and work of farmers, the rejuvenation of the agricultural sector, the generational change and the establishment of the population in rural areas. In addition, it aims to contribute to facilitating business development, promoting employment, growth, social inclusion and local development in rural areas. 3. The call includes the following lines of aid: a) Aid for the establishment of young farmers in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. b) Aid for the establishment of new farmers in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. Third. Regulatory bases. Order DES/23/2024 of July 10, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid for the establishment of young and new farmers in Cantabria (BOC of July 18, 2024). Room. Amount. The amount of aid being called amounts to 3,722,235.05 euros, which will be co-financed, as provided for in article 91 of Regulation (EU) No. 2021/2115, as follows: a) Aid for the establishment of young farmers in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. The total amount of public spending planned for this measure is 2,882,125.05 euros, co-financed as follows: 1,149,313.74 euros through the EAFRD with the following annuities and amounts: 919,450.99 euros for the year 2024 and 229,862.75 euros for the year 2027. 454,379.85 euros through the MAPA with the following annuities and amounts: 363,503.88 euros for the year 2024 and 90,875.97 euros for the year 2027 1,069,129.06 euros by the Autonomous Community of Cantabria charged to the budget application 05.03.414A.771 of the General Budgets of the Community Autonomous, with the following annuities and amounts: 855,303.25 euros for the year 2024 and 213,825.81 euros for the year 2027. 209,302.40 euros of additional financing from the Government of Cantabria charged to budget application 05.03.414A.771 of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community, with the following annuities and amounts: 167,441.92 euros for the year 2024 and 41,860.48 euros for the year 2027. The total amount of public spending planned for this measure is 840,110.00 euros, co-financed as follows: 300,000.00 euros through the EAFRD with the following annuities and amounts: 240,000.00 euros for the year 2024 and 60,000.00 euros for the year 2027. 118,604.65 euros through the MAP with the following annuities and amounts: 94,883.72 euros for the year 2024 and 23,720.93 euros
