RULES AND PUBLIC CALL FOR SUBSIDIES FROM THE SPORTS DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF AZUQUECA DE HENARES ALLOCATED TO SPORTS ENTITIES OF THE MUNICIPALITY 2024

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, an extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans). By mayoral resolution of September 20, 2024, the call and specific bases for the aforementioned call have been approved, with the following specifications: FIRST. PURPOSE: The purpose of these subsidies is to promote the development of the different sports projects of the clubs and entities based in Azuqueca de Henares, promoting sports, physical activity and local sports associations. The purpose of these subsidies is to collaborate with sports clubs and athletes in the municipality, in the development of their sports activities, participation in federated sports competitions, as well as the practice of different sports disciplines. SECOND. AMOUNT AND BUDGET ITEM The subsidies granted under this call, the amount of which amounts to €230,000, will be allocated to budget application 3420 489.23 “Subsidies to non-profit sports entities”, recorded in Chapter IV of the entity's General Budget for the corresponding year. THIRD. REQUIREMENTS: Sports Clubs or non-profit Sports Entities may choose to be beneficiaries of the subsidies granted through this call. Sports Public Limited Companies or Private Entities with profit motive will be excluded from this call. They must meet the requirements indicated in article 13 of the General Subsidies Law and comply with the following requirements: a) Be constituted in accordance with current regulations and registered in the Registry of Sports Entities of Castilla-La Mancha as sports clubs, in accordance with articles 44 et seq. of Law 5/2015, of March 26, on Physical Activity and Sports of Castilla-La Mancha, with an age of at least five years from the date of registration until the end of the application period. b) Have registered office in the municipality of Azuqueca. c) Belong to a Federation that appears on the Single Portal of Federations of the Higher Sports Council https://www.csd.gob.es/es/federaciones-yasociaciones or prove registration in the State Registry of Sports Entities. d) The beneficiary is required to have a NIF that proves that he or she has been registered for tax purposes with the Public Treasury. e) Be up to date in compliance with your tax, Social Security and Municipal Treasury obligations. f) Have duly justified the municipal subsidies that they may have previously obtained from the Azuqueca de Henares City Council, even if they were nominative, unless their justification period has not expired. The following may not be beneficiaries of this aid: 1. Those entities that, after the deadline has expired, have pending justification of subsidies issued in previous years by the Azuqueca de Henares City Council or are not aware of obligations of economic content towards this municipal entity. 2. Those who are affected by suspension or disqualification due to a firm disciplinary sanction or the Clubs or Associations that represent them for concepts associated with said athletes. 3. Those Clubs that have signed collaboration agreements with others (exchange of athletes, shared facilities, merger of names with those who register in competitions, etc.) will not be able to request a subsidy for the same teams and/or athletes, and only the Club that pays the federation costs of the competition may request them, presenting the corresponding certificate from the corresponding federation. 4.
