RULES AND PUBLIC CALL FOR SUBSIDIES FROM THE SPORTS DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF AZUQUECA DE HENARES AIMED FOR INDIVIDUAL ATHLETES OF THE MUNICIPALITY 2024

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, an extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans). By mayoral resolution of September 20, 2024, the call and specific bases for the aforementioned call have been approved, with the following specifications: FIRST. OBJECT: The purpose of these subsidies is to collaborate with the athletes of the municipality, in the development of their sports activities, participation in federated sports competitions, as well as the practice of different sports disciplines. SECOND. AMOUNT AND BUDGET ITEM The subsidies granted under this call, the amount of which amounts to €5,000, will be allocated to the budget application 3420 489.22, recorded in the General Budget of the entity for the corresponding year. THIRD.REQUIREMENTS: Individual Competitive Athletes may choose to be beneficiaries of the subsidies granted through this call, according to the classification established to designate them in article 19 of Law 39/2022, of December 30, on Sports. They must meet the following requirements: a) Be a competitive athlete and be in possession of the federative license for the season that is the subject of the Call, by one of the Federations that appear in the Single Portal of Federations of the Higher Sports Council, as an independent athlete or with a Club or Sports Entity with registered office in the city of Azuqueca de Henares. b) Be registered in the Municipal Register of Inhabitants of the Azuqueca de Henares City Council, for a minimum of one year since the publication of the call. c) Not be subject to any of the circumstances that prohibit having the status of beneficiary, provided for in art. 13.2 of Law 38/2003 of November 17, General Subsidies. d) Not serving a firm sanction for a disciplinary or administrative infraction in sports related to doping or for violent, racist and xenophobic acts and conduct discriminatory on the basis of sex. Those who meet any of the circumstances established in sections 2 and 3 of article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, may not be beneficiaries of this aid. ROOM. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS The applications and documents to be attached must be submitted within a period of TWENTY CALENDAR DAYS counted from the day following the publication of the extract of the call on the notice board of the City Council, as well as on the website, which will take place once published in the Official Gazette of the Province through the National Subsidies Database. Applications submitted outside the established deadline will be returned to the interested parties by the Azuqueca de Henares City Council, indicating such circumstance, without further processing. Applications must be submitted to the Electronic Registry of the Azuqueca de Henares City Council https://azuqueca.sedelectronica.es in compliance with article 14 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations according to the standardized model, Annex I, and addressed to the Mayor/President. With the presentation of the application, unconditional acceptance of the bases of the call, as well as the requirements and obligations contained therein, is presumed. Without prejudice to the foregoing, at any time throughout the procedure, the requesting entity may be urged to comply with any other requirement or procedure, in accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned Law, granting for this purpose a period of ten days from the notification, with a warning that, if it does not do so, it may be declared waived in its right to process the application.
