Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3 b) and 20.8 a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.infosubvenciones.es) and in this Official Gazette of Extremadura. First. Beneficiaries. Municipalities and minor local entities of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura. Second. Object. Subsidies intended to finance the development of grouped actions for the development of commercial animation projects with the purpose of energizing, promoting Extremaduran commerce and promoting commercial associations. Grouped actions for the development of commercial animation projects are understood to mean any action to promote and energize local commerce, which are developed jointly with other businesses and other sectors, seeking synergies to increase their positioning, attract consumers and encourage demand and thus be able to compete with other commercial formats. It will be an essential requirement that there be active involvement of the businesses and other companies participating in the project that represents added value to encourage sales. In the event that companies from other sectors participate (hospitality, tourism, leisure, gastronomy or other services), at least 50% of the participating companies must be local companies and must have retail trade as their main activity. Third. Regulatory bases. Decree 130/2024, of October 15, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid for the promotion of trade through grouped actions for commercial revitalization in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura and approves the first call corresponding to the years 2024-2025. Room. Amount. The aid will consist of a subsidy of 90% of the eligible expenses, with a maximum amount of aid per request that may not exceed the amount established in article 4.1 of the regulatory bases, depending on the population of the municipality where the action is carried out, also establishing a specific amount in the case of development and implementation of software aimed at attracting clients. The total amount of the call for aid amounts to 1,500,000 euros. The call for the aid line for commercial animation projects developed by municipalities and smaller local entities has a total amount of 1,000,000 euros, 500,000 euros charged to the 2024 budget and 500,000 euros charged to the 2025 budget. These aids will be charged to budget application 14.003.341A.760.00, code spending project 20230018 called “Promotion of trade through grouped actions”. This aid is subject to the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2021/1058 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 24, 2021 regarding the European Regional Development Fund and the Cohesion Fund, and is part of the ERDF 2021-2027 Extremadura program, with co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), within Political Objective 1: “Improve the competitiveness of the SME”, Investment Priority: 1.A “Digital and Intelligent Transition”, Specific Objective 1 iii). “the reinforcement of sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and the creation of jobs in them, also through productive investments.” They are 85% co-financed by the European Union, through FEDER funds. Fifth. Eligible expenses. Expenses related to the development of the activity included in article 3.1 of the regulatory bases will be considered eligible expenses. Sixth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting aid applications will begin on the day following the publication of the call and this extract in the Official Gazette of Extremadura, and will end on July 31, 2025, or, where appropriate, until the budget credit is exhausted, and will respect the minimum deadline for submitting applications established in article 7.1 of the regulatory bases. Applications will be processed electronically through the general electronic access point https://www.juntaex.es/w/5512 within the file corresponding to the procedure from where access to the associated electronic headquarters will be enabled to submit the application.
