COMPETITIVE COMPETITION RULES FOR VIII PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST 'O ETHNOGRAPHIC HERITAGE MATERIAL OF THE BIOSFERA RESERVES TERRAS DO MIÑO E OS ANCARES LUCESES' ANNUALITY 2025

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (https://www.pap.hacienda.gob.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/index). First.- Beneficiaries Interested natural persons of legal age, of Spanish nationality or legal residents in Spain, who meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries of the prizes of this call: ? Be of legal age, of Spanish nationality or legal resident in Spain. ? Be up to date with tax obligations with the state and regional Treasury, as well as be up to date with obligations with Social Security and the Provincial Council, signing the responsible declaration contained in Annex I of this call. ? Those established in articles 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies and 10 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, of Galician Subsidies and applicable in the present case. ? The beneficiaries of the three prizes from the previous edition will not be able to participate in this VIII Contest. ? The person who submits a photograph to the Contest must be the author of it. Second.- Object The object of this call is the organization of the procedure applicable to the VIII Photography Contest, which will have as its guiding thread in this 2025 edition "The material ethnographic heritage of the Terras do Miño and Os Ancares Lucenses Biosphere Reserves", with the purpose of highlighting, making known and disseminating the material ethnographic heritage representative of the sustainable use of the natural resources of these Biosphere Reserves. This contest is carried out on a competitive basis. The photographs submitted to the Contest must have been taken in the territories of the Terras do Miño and Os Ancares Lucenses Biosphere Reserves, having as their theme the material ethnographic heritage of these two Biosphere Reserves. In this particular it is worth clarifying that the theme "Material ethnographic heritage of the Terras do Miño and Os Ancares Lucenses Biosphere Reserves?" It includes, among other assets, granaries, mills, water mills, washing places, fountains, walkways, curtains, pallozas and other traditional constructions, which constitute the footprint of our ancestors and their good work when it comes to taking advantage of resources in a sustainable way without compromising their persistence or depletion. Third.- Regulatory bases The bases of the VIII Edition of the Photography Contest "The material ethnographic heritage of the Terras do Miño and Os Ancares Lucenses Biosphere Reserves?" - Year 2025, they can be consulted on the website of the Provincial Council of Lugo: http://www.deputacionlugo.gal/gl/temas/medioambiente/concursofotografiaRRBB Fourth.- Amount The total amount of the contest will be 1,600.00 euros divided into three prizes: 1st Prize: 800.00 euros 2nd Prize: 500.00 euros 3rd Prize: 300.00 euros Fifth.- Submission period The application submission period will be 2 calendar months, counting from the day following the publication in the BOP of Lugo of the extract of this call and bases. Sixth.- Other information The works must be unpublished and cannot have been previously awarded. A single photograph must be submitted per applicant, and those who submit more than one photograph to the contest will be excluded from this procedure, either in the same application or in several applications. The photograph may be taken in black and white or color, and must be presented following the requirements of the fifth base. The authors of the awarded works will transfer to the Provincial Council of Lugo all their economic rights, especially the rights of exhibition, publication and any other rights related to dissemination, always mentioning the name of the author. These rights will extend to a total period of thirty years. Under no circumstances will photographs be returned to contest participants.
