Resolution of December 4, 2024 of the Presidency of the State Research Agency, which approves the second call 2024 for aid for the training of doctors in companies and other entities "Industrial Doctorates

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiary entities. Companies, as well as private non-profit entities and public administrations, that in their statutes or in the regulations that regulate them or in their corporate purpose do not have R&D&I among their purposes or as an activity to be carried out, may be beneficiary entities of the aid, in accordance with the provisions of article 6 of the call. Second. Object. The purpose of the aid is to promote the implementation of industrial research or experimental development projects in companies and other entities in the socio-economic environment, in which a doctoral thesis is framed, in order to promote the employment of research personnel in these entities from the beginning of their professional careers, contribute to the employability of these researchers and promote the incorporation of talent into the productive and socio-economic fabric to increase its competitiveness. Third. Regulatory bases. Order CIN/1025/2022, of October 27, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting of public aid corresponding to various programs and subprograms of the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2021-2023, whose management corresponds to the State Research Agency. Room. Amount. The maximum amount intended to finance this call amounts to 8,000,000 euros, which will be allocated to budgetary applications equivalent, in the years 2026 and following, to the current 28,303,463B,770 of the General State Budgets, in accordance with budgetary availability. Fifth. Form and deadline for submitting applications. Applications for participation will be presented by the entities, in accordance with the procedure described in article 14 of the call. The completion and electronic submission of the application must be carried out through the electronic means enabled for this purpose at the electronic headquarters of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. The deadline for submitting applications for participation will be from January 21 to March 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time). Sixth. Evaluation of applications. Applications will be evaluated according to the following criteria: a) Academic and/or scientific-technical career of the candidate. b) Suitability of the candidate to the research activities to be carried out. c) Training Plan. d) Quality and scientific-technological feasibility of the proposed activity. e) Impact and incentive effect on the R&D&I activity of the requesting entity. The description of the criteria and sub-criteria, as well as their assessment, are determined in the annex to the call.
