Mayor's Resolution no. 2436/2024, of December 10, 2024, of the El Sauzal City Council, which calls for the granting of subsidized places at the “El Sauce” Infant School of El Sauzal, for the remaining period of the 2024-2025 academic year.

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. The beneficiaries of these subsidized places may be parents or people who exercise guardianship or legal guardianship of children under three years of age born or whose birth is expected to take place before January 1 of the 2024/2025 school year and who reside in the municipality of El Sauzal or can prove that they have their usual place of work in said municipality (both requirements with a seniority of at least 3 months). Likewise, in the event of divorce, separation or any other cause for which the parents or persons exercising guardianship or legal guardianship live in separate homes, the family home will be considered to be the one where the person who has been assigned guardianship and custody of the minor by a final court ruling is registered. In cases in which the care and custody of the minor is shared, the place of registration of the minor and, where applicable, the relevant provisions contained in the sentence to determine the domicile, must be taken into account. The incorporation into the Nursery School of admitted minors cannot be carried out with less than three months of age. Second. Object. The purpose of this call is the granting of the following subsidized places: - TWO (2) places subsidized at 100% of their cost, and ONE (1) at 50%, by the procedure established in base VI of the Regulatory Bases of the subsidy called PROCEDURE TO ACCESS THE SEAT(S) SUBSCIDIZED AT 100% AND 50% DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES ORDINARY, through competitive competition, considering all those applications that meet the requirements determined in the bases, determining the order of priority based on the score obtained in the evaluation of the applications in accordance with the criteria contemplated in the aforementioned bases. - ONE (1) place subsidized at 100% due to socio-familial circumstances of serious risk for minors in accordance with the proposal of the Department of Social Services of this Administration, by the procedure established in base VII of the Regulatory Bases of the subsidy called PROCEDURE FOR GRANTING THE PLACE/S SUBSIDIZED AT 100% DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES OF SERIOUS RISK, by proposal of the Social Services of this City Council of El Sauzal, in accordance with the family intervention programs, through the issuance of the corresponding Assessment Report jointly by a social worker and an educator, due to socio-familial circumstances of serious risk for the minor. The subsidy includes the full eight-hour day and the dining room service, excluding the amount to be paid for registration and overtime. Regarding the 50% subsidized place, specify that the payment of the remaining 50% corresponds to the winner of the subsidized place, who must make it at the Nursery School itself. In matters not provided for in these rules, the provisions of the General Subsidies Ordinance of this City Council will apply. Third. Regulatory bases. The regulatory bases for the granting of these subsidies consisting of subsidized places at the “El Pequeno Sauce” Nursery School in El Sauzal, for the remainder of the 2024-2025 academic year, were approved by agreement adopted by the Plenary Session of the El Sauzal City Council in an ordinary session on July 30, 2021, and its full text was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife number 118, of October 1, 2021, once elevated to final due to no allegations having been presented in said plenary agreement (hereinafter “Regulatory Bases of the Subsidy”). In addition, the provisions of the General Subsidies Ordinance, published in the Official Gazette of the Province number 47, of April 17, 2024, must be complied with. Fourth: Amount. In this Call, it is not expected that any expenses will be generated for the municipal coffers, and therefore, any budgetary credit charged to the current municipal Budgets for the current fiscal year 2024, by virtue of the Administrative Contract for the Concession of the Service for the management of the El Sauzal Nursery School “El Pequeno Sauce” signed on November 29, 2024 between this City Council of El Sauzal and the concessionaire, by which this contractor undertakes to reserve two places per 8-hour General Time Assistance course with dining service, for the El Sauzal City Council, one of them
