CALL FOR THE GRANTING OF GRANTS FOR THE ECONOMIC DYNAMICIZATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF GETXO DIRECTED TO BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS AND FEDERATIONS. YEAR 2025.

Official description of the call

PURPOSE The purpose of this call is to regulate the procedure for granting subsidies by the Getxo City Council, Economic Promotion, to associations and other entities whose activity to be subsidized is carried out in the municipality of Getxo and benefits the economic activity of the municipality of Getxo. Line 1: Aid for carrying out economic revitalization activities aimed at associations of merchants and hospitality-restaurants in Getxo, as well as federations and other entities in the territory of Bizkaia that bring together these associations. Its objective is to support the development and execution of the annual action plan of these entities, in order to promote the improvement of commercial and hospitality activity in the municipality of Getxo. Line 2: Aid for carrying out economic revitalization activities aimed at Associations of professionals and businessmen in the strategic areas that the City Council wants to promote. Its objective is to bring to the municipality of Getxo events of a professional/business nature that generate in the municipality the promotion of professionals linked to the strategic sectors that the city council wishes to promote, such as innovative business initiatives in the field of well-being, healthy living and sports; the creative and cultural industries, and the tourism positioning of our municipality in the segments associated with these sectors. Line 3: Aid for the maintenance and promotion of associations for merchant and hotel-restaurant associations in Getxo. Its objective is to promote the maintenance of associations and the increase of members (businesses, hospitality and personal services) to the associations. EXECUTION PERIOD The subsidized activities must be carried out: L1: from the day following publication in the BOB until December 31, 2025. L2: from the day following publication in the BOB until March 31, 2026. APPLICATIONS Applications for aid must be processed electronically, through the Getxo City Council website www.getxo.eus/oae. The deadline for submitting applications will be: L1 and L3: one month from the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of Bizkaia. L2: from the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of Bizkaia until March 31, 2025. In any case, a one-month application period will be guaranteed from the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of Bizkaia. Both the call and the application and justification forms will be on the website www.getxo.eus/es/promocion-economica. PAYMENT The payment of the subsidy will be made through a first payment, corresponding to 75%, at the time of the aid resolution. The rest of the subsidy, 25%, will be paid after justification and subsequent verification of compliance with the requirements. With the exception of Line 3, whose payment will be made in a single installment after the favorable resolution.
