EQ_CALL FOR GRANTS TO NON-PROFIT ENTITIES IN THE PROVINCE OF VALENCIA, AIMED AT DEVELOPING ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE EQUALITY BETWEEN WOMEN AND MEN AND/OR AGAINST GENDER VIOLENCE 2025

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database http:/www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans. First: Beneficiaries Associations, foundations, federations or groups thereof, which have their registered office and operate in the province of Valencia, aimed at developing activities that promote equality between women and men and/or against gender violence, may benefit from this aid. Second: Purpose The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of subsidies, on a competitive basis, to associations, foundations, federations or groups thereof, which have their registered office and operate in the province of Valencia, intended for the development of activities that promote equality between women and men and/or against gender violence, during 2025. The subsidy awarded will be used to finance programs, projects or specific actions that contribute to making the right to equality effective. of treatment and opportunities between women and men, and favor the inclusion of women in society, as well as any other specific prevention and intervention actions against gender violence, in the terms established by Organic Law 3/2007, of March 22, for the effective equality of women and men, and Law 9/2003, of April 2, of the Generalitat, for Equality between Women and Men. Applicant entities may only submit one program or project to this call, without prejudice to the fact that it may consist of different activities. The actions for which a subsidy is requested, which in any case must incorporate the gender perspective in their purpose and content, cannot promote the continuity of traditional gender roles and, consequently, the documentation provided cannot make sexist use of language or include a stereotypical image of women, and must incorporate inclusive communication promoting equal treatment and non-discrimination between women and men. Third: Regulatory bases The regulatory bases are those established in the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Provincial Council of Valencia, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia no. 101, dated May 29, 2017. Fourth: Financing and amount of activities The subsidies granted under this call will be financed from application 640.23109.48000 of the Corporation's Expense Budget for 2025, for a maximum total amount of €180,000. This total amount may be increased by an additional amount of up to 70,000 euros, in accordance with the provisions of article 58 of the General Subsidy Regulations, the effectiveness of which is conditional on the declaration of availability of the credit as a consequence of the corresponding increase. The maximum amount eligible for each beneficiary entity may not exceed €15,000 or the amount requested when it is less than said amount. Fifth: Submission period The application submission period will be 20 business days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia.
