General call for subsidies 2025. Annex No. 40: Subsidies for improving accessibility

Official description of the call

IRUN CITY COUNCIL Area of Urban Planning, Mobility and Sustainable Development Extract from Resolution No. 276 of March 3, 2025 of the Mayor's Office of the Irun City Council, which approves the general call for subsidies 2025. Subsidy line: Subsidies for improving accessibility All the documentation and information related to this call can be consulted on the Internet Portal of the Irun City Council www.irun.org. Purpose The subject of the following bases is the regulation of the conditions for granting financial aid to projects that define actions that solve, to the extent possible, the difficulties of compliance with the Accessibility Law and that come from the lack of elevators, as well as the poor definition of the same due to the existence of unevenness (stairs) or other construction barriers, within the portals or at the threshold of access to the portal, as well as the works to carry them out. Likewise, also those actions that adapt the interior of the homes where people with disabilities reside to improve their quality of life, improve accessibility to their rooms and eliminate obstacles that prevent mobility inside, or favor autonomy in other situations of disability within the home. And, finally, also actions that facilitate greater compliance in commercial premises with accessibility regulations. This includes gaps bridged by stairs without alternative solutions. These are actions that resolve, to the extent possible, the existence of different levels in the external itinerary and inside the premises, improve accessibility to its premises and eliminate obstacles that compromise mobility inside. Beneficiaries and requirements Depending on the area where the action is carried out, the following may obtain the status of beneficiary: - In the case of actions in residential buildings: the natural persons who own or Communities of owners of buildings under the horizontal property regime of the property on which the action is proposed. In the case of subsidies for single-family homes, the natural persons who own or rent the property on which the action is proposed may apply for such aid. - Actions in housing: the natural persons who own or rent the property on which the action is proposed. any that has carried out the actions: - In buildings that have the RU-1, RP-10 or RP-24 rating according to the current General Urban Planning Plan. - Without an urban planning license or in contravention of its conditions if one exists. Such actions are classified as clandestine with application of the legal regime provided for in current regulations. Likewise, those actions completed between November 3, 2024 and October 31, 2025 may be financed in the terms provided in the specific annex. In any case, eligible actions will refer to buildings or facilities located in the municipality of Irun. Financial allocation and amount Budget allocation: 160,000 euros. Budget application: 1 0710.480.01.152.20. Deadline and form of submission of applications The deadline for submitting applications will be from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa until October 31, 2025. Applications will be submitted to the Irun City Council through the Citizen Service Service (SAC), Municipal Electronic Headquarters or any other means provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Administrative Procedure Common.
