Official description of the call

Extract from the Specific Bases of Social Aid for Vulnerability of the Igualada City Council, according to the call for the year 2025, called by decree of the Councilor for the Interior, Housing, Equality, LGTBIQ+ and Universities, dated March 25, 2025. 1. Beneficiaries Natural persons of vulnerable coexistence units, whether resident owners or resident usufructuaries, or precarious occupants, residents of the Communities of Owners, of the buildings including the Residential Environments of Programmed Rehabilitation: MASUCA and SANT ANTONI DE BAIX. 2. Object and purpose of the subsidies The object of these bases is the granting of social aid for vulnerability complementary to the rehabilitation subsidies included in RD 853/2021 and managed by the Housing Agency of Catalonia. Specifically, rehabilitation consists of works that correctively and preventively amend the construction elements and systems associated with structural deficiencies or defects, complying with the regulatory requirements that guarantee structural safety (resistance, stability and serviceability). Through these individual social aid complementary to vulnerability, the aim is to make the planned rehabilitation actions viable and thus respond to identified situations of housing emergency and risk of residential exclusion. 3. Regulatory bases Those published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on March 4, 2025. 4. Amount Line 1: Individual aid complementary to general vulnerability: The amount that results so that the cost of rehabilitation borne by the beneficiaries is €5,000. This aid is limited to the maximum quantified total cost of the works included in the works projects and the amount granted by the AHC, both in relation to the works and vulnerability. The amount of the aid will be the result of subtracting, from the total cost of the works attributable to the home, the amount of the subsidy awarded to Program 1 (works and vulnerability) and the €5,000 that the beneficiary must contribute. Line 2: Additional individual aid for special vulnerability: It will be up to €5,000 (five thousand euros) to finance the entire cost of the work, according to the contract budget. 5. Deadline for submission of applications From April 1 to 17, 2025
