Subsidies for the development of the 42 School Age Games of Aragon in their Regional-Intercomarcal phase for associations, clubs, groups, schools, Amypas and non-profit entities for the 2024-2025 school year

Official description of the call

First.- Purpose and Beneficiaries. Within the powers of the Regions, Legislative Decree 1/2006, of December 27, of the Government of Aragon, which approves the consolidated text of the Law of Regionalization of Aragon, establishes in its article 9.1.10ª sport as the competence of the Region. Article 21 delimits the content of the competition in matters of sport, establishing that it corresponds to the Regions, in general, “the promotion and encouragement of sporting activity…”, and in particular, “the organization and collaboration in the organization of regional sports competitions, especially the regional phases of the Aragon School Games (now Aragon School Age Sports Games), all without prejudice to the powers attributed to the Aragonese sports federations and to local entities.” Therefore, a direct competition is the development of the School Age Sports Games promoted by the General Council of Aragon and which in their regional phases, in accordance with Decree 4/2005, of January 11, of the Government of Aragon, must manage the regions, adapting both in their programming and in their regulations to their own characteristics, and when they deem it so, to the provisions of the General Bases in the Order. PIC/673/2024, of June 14, 2024, of the Department of the Presidency, Interior and Culture that regulates the celebration of the 42nd edition of the School Age Sports Games. All of this in accordance with the functions and services entrusted to the Region according to Decree 4/2005, of February 11, of the Government of Aragon, which modifies the Decrees of the Government of Aragon on transfers of functions and transfer of services from the Administration of the Autonomous Community of Aragon to the Regions, especially and preferably to cooperation in the fulfillment of the powers contemplated in the articles. D.2.a., D.2.d. and D,2,g of the aforementioned Decree 4/2005. Only non-profit associations, groups, clubs and local entities may apply for a subsidy, which are legally constituted, whose headquarters are located in any of the municipalities of the Hoya de Huesca/Plana de Uesca region and whose object or purpose is directly related to the Aragon School Age Sports Games. The requesting entity must have the participants registered (mutualized) in accordance with the general bases that govern the 42 School Age Sports Games (Order PIC/673/2024, of June 14, 2024) Second.- Regulatory bases. This call will be governed by the General Ordinance regulating the granting of subsidies by the Hoya de Huesca Region|Plana de Uesca published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 105, of May 31, 2007, and number 146 of July 27, 2007. Third.- Amount. The total amount of the budget item allocated to this call amounts to 10,000.00 euros, which will be applied to item 2025/3410/48912 of the budget of the Region of Hoya de Huesca|Plana de Uesca corresponding to the financial year 2025. The amount of the subsidies will be determined based on the applications submitted, the available budget item and based on the actual expenditure to be made. In no case may the amount of the subsidy be such that it exceeds, alone 80% of the cost of the activity or in conjunction with other public subsidies, the total cost of the activity or project. The maximum amount that will be given to an applicant for their project will be 2,000.00 euros per application. Eligible expenses are considered to be those that respond to the nature of the subsidized activity, in this specific case the 42nd School Age Games of Aragon in its regional-interregional phase, and will refer to expenses incurred between October 1, 2024 and May 31, 2025. The expenses must correspond to officially registered sports that participate in the School Age Sports Games, in accordance with the call for the general and specific bases of the General Provincial Council of Aragon (Order PIC/673/2024, of June 14, 2024), and will mainly include trips made on the occasion of the School Age Sports Games competitions within the period of time between October 1, 2024 and May 31, 2025. Expenses for small related materials will also be included.
