Call to grant a subsidy to seniors who wish to participate in the CULTURAL TRIP TO TOLEDO FOR SENIORS, WITH ENTRANCE TO PUY DU FOU AND THE DREAM OF TOLEDO

Official description of the call

ANNOUNCEMENT In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call for granting a subsidy to seniors who wish to participate in the CULTURAL TRIP TO TOLEDO FOR SENIORS, WITH ENTRANCE TO PUY DU FOU AND THE DREAM OF TOLEDO, DIVIDED INTO THREE, is published. First.- Beneficiaries and Requirements 1.- People residing in Paterna who meet the following requirements may participate in the Travel Program for seniors of the municipality of Paterna: 1.1.Be Spanish or foreign with legal residence in Spain. Foreigners residing in Paterna may benefit as long as they meet the conditions of Organic Law 4/2000, on the Rights and Freedoms of Foreigners in Spain, and the requirements established in this regulation. 1.2. Retirees and pensioners (provided they have acquired pensioner status prior to January 1, 2025), registered in the municipality of Paterna at least as of January 1, 2025. 1.3. Not be subject to any of the circumstances provided for in article 13 of the reiterated General Law of Subsidies, required to have the status of beneficiary of the subsidy. 1.4.Not suffer from mental or behavioral disorders that could alter the normal coexistence of users in hotel establishments, or from an infectious or contagious disease. They will have to fend for themselves. 1.5. People aged 60 or over with disabilities who, according to the provisions of the Revised Text of the General Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and their Social Inclusion, have a disability equal to or greater than 33%, accredited with a certificate. In the event that these people require the help of a companion, it will be necessary to present a disability certificate stating a degree equal to or greater than 65%. People with disabilities will come with their companion so that they can help them carry out the activities. 1.6. Applicants will accredit to the City Council their compliance with the established requirements through a responsible declaration. 1.7. Compliance with the conditions established in this article to have the status of beneficiary will refer to the moment of presentation of the corresponding application. 2. - Accompanying persons Users referred to in point 1 may be accompanied by their spouse or, where applicable, by a de facto partner or person with whom a stable and cohabiting union is established with an emotional relationship similar to that of a spouse, without the need for them to meet any of the requirements required in point 1. Second.- Obligations of the beneficiaries In addition to the obligations that, in general terms, in article 14 of Law 38/2003, of November 23, General Subsidies, establishes the following obligations of the beneficiaries: a) Communicate non-attendance to the trip with a minimum notice of 3 days. In case of cancellation due to unforeseen reasons at the last minute, you will be notified before departure to have the right to a refund. The penalty will be the following: –20% of the total trip if non-compliance occurs within 15 days immediately after the scheduled date of the trip. –50% if it occurs between 14 days and 7 days prior to the trip. -100% in the event that the cancellation notification occurs within 48 hours prior to the trip. –Non-show at the departure time or communication less than 48 hours in advance will be penalized 100%. If the user communicates his/her cancellation once the trip has started, the right to a refund will expire. Third.- Object The main objective of the Travel Program is to improve the quality of life of older people and promote active aging through their participation in trips and tourist activities at affordable prices, which they otherwise would not have been able to do, conceived as a complementary service to the activities carried out in the Senior Centers of the municipality of Paterna. In addition, the program manages to promote the economic development of the tourism sector, reducing seasonality and, thereby, generating employment and economic activity.
