CALL FOR THE GRANTING OF INDIVIDUAL AID FOR SCHOOL DINING TO STUDENTS OF COMPULSORY EDUCATION, SPECIAL EDUCATION AND SECOND CYCLE OF CHILDREN'S EDUCATION, SCHOOLED IN EDUCATIONAL CENTERS IN THE ALT PENEDES REGION 2025-2026

Official description of the call

Call for Individual Aid for school meals for the 2025-2026 academic year BENEFICIARIES: Students who meet the following requirements may apply for school meal aid: a) Be enrolled for the 2025-2026 academic year, in an educational center supported by public funds in Catalonia, in any of the courses of the second cycle of early childhood education, special education and compulsory education, in the Alt Penedès region, except for those schooled in Vinyes Verdes de San Llorenç d'Hortons who will have to do so at the Anoia Regional Council. It is necessary to prove compliance with the requirements established in article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, although the persons requesting the dining aid are the father, mother, guardian or legal representative of the student. OBJECT: The purpose of the call is the regulation of the granting of individual aid, for the 2025-2026 academic year, for the use of the school dining service to students enrolled in compulsory education levels, in the second cycle of early childhood education and special education in the Alt Penedès region, to which the free service does not correspond, with assessment of the economic, family and social conditions of the applicants, and depending on the financial availability of the Consell Regional that is available for each school year. REGULATORY BASES: The Governing Board of the Alt Penedés Regional Council on March 16, 2023, approved the regulatory bases for the granting of individual aid for the use of the school cafeteria service (AIM), which are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona with CVE 202310048874 dated March 20, 2023. AMOUNT: The maximum budget that Initially allocated to this call will be €3,804,321.18. The budget application to which the budget credit and amounts are charged is: €1,340,533.80 in charge of the budget application 326.48031 - Education Transfers, Non-mandatory dining room from the 2025 budget and €2,463,787.38 in charge of the budget application Education Transfers, Non-mandatory dining room from the budget of the fiscal year 2026. The amount of the authorized expense may be increased, prior to the resolution of the applications submitted, by the body that has been assigned jurisdiction due to the amount of the modification, without this fact giving rise to a new call. The effectiveness of the additional amount will be conditional on the declaration of availability of the credit at the time prior to the resolution of the granting of the subsidies. DEADLINE: The ordinary deadline for submitting applications will begin on April 22 and end on May 11, 2025 (both included). The extraordinary period for newly enrolled students (enrolled on or after May 11, 2025) will begin on July 1 and end on August 31, 2025, both included. Unexpected applications and changes in situation may be submitted from October 1, 2025 and until May 15, 2026 at most.
