Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.infosubvenciones.gob.es) and in this Official Gazette of Extremadura (http://doe.juntaex.es). First. Object and purpose. 1. The purpose of this resolution is to approve the public call corresponding to the year 2025, for aid to defray extraordinary expenses derived from the exercise of foster care for minors under the guardianship or guardianship of the Protection System of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura 2. The granting of aid is due to the purpose of contributing to the coverage of specific needs of minors received under any form of foster care, promoting them the opportunity to grow. in a safe, responsible and emotionally available environment for their needs. Second. Persons benefiting from aid. 1. Families fostering minors from the Protection System of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura may be beneficiaries of this aid in the terms provided for in article 20 of Organic Law 1/1996, of January 15, on the Legal Protection of Minors, and in accordance with the foster care modalities contemplated in article 173 bis of the Civil Code, provided that effective coexistence with them is maintained at the date of submission of the application. 2. Host families must designate one of the host natural persons as an interested person, for the purposes of submitting the application in the aid granting procedure, which must be reflected in Annex III to be provided with the application. Third. Requirements for receiving aid. 1. The beneficiary foster families must, on the date of submission of the application, have formalized foster care for a minor from the Protection System of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura with whom they effectively coexist. 2. In the event that foster care has been formalized in another Autonomous Community and the foster parents move their residence to the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, aid may be requested once the Autonomous Administration is subrogated to the protective measure of the Autonomous Community of origin. Room. Regulatory bases. On November 18, 2024, Decree 134/2024, of October 29, was published, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of aid to cover extraordinary expenses derived from the exercise of foster care for minors under the guardianship or guardianship of the Protection System of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura and the first call. The total amount of this call to cover extraordinary expenses derived from the exercise of foster care for minors under the guardianship or custody of the Protection System of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura is 300,000 euros, as stated in Law 1/2024, of February 5, on the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura for the year 2024, extended for the fiscal year 2025, by virtue of the provisions of article 58 of Law 5/2007, of April 19, General of Public Finance of Extremadura and in accordance with the criteria included in the Order of February 6, 2025, which establishes the conditions and criteria for applying the extension of the General Budgets of the Community of Extremadura for 2024 in the fiscal year of 2025 (DOE No. 26 of February 7), in project 20240290 called “Aid to defray extraordinary expenses intended to support family foster care” which has budget application 11003/252A/48000. 2. If the budgetary credit is exhausted and the corresponding credit modifications are not made or there is no new budgetary availability, the period of validity of the call will be declared ended by means of an announcement by the person in charge of the General Secretariat of the Ministry responsible for the protection of minors, which will be published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura (http://doe.juntaex.es) and on the Community Subsidies Portal.
