Official description of the call

Beneficiaries The Àlex Seglers Memorial may be referred to people, entities and/or institutions that have stood out in any of the purposes mentioned in section 2 of the regulatory bases, in the area of ​​Catalonia, either due to their career or due to specific actions and works. Participants must be up to date with the fulfillment of their tax obligations with the City Council, the Generalitat and the State, as well as their obligations with Social Security and not incur any of the circumstances that make it impossible to obtain the status of beneficiary of subsidies, in accordance with article 13 of Law 38/2003, General of subsidies. Deadline The deadline for submitting applications will be 40 business days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat for the 2025 call. Applications For the processing of participation, it will be mandatory that documentation be provided using a standard application model that is detailed in the sixth section of the regulatory bases and that is present in any of the records of the Sabadell City Council or by any means included in article 16. of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations. The submission of the subsidy application presupposes knowledge and acceptance of the rules that regulate it. Documentation that must accompany the applications 1. Biography or career of the proposed person, group, entity or institution 2. Complete information on the specific contribution proposed as worthy of the Memorial. 3. Defense argument. 4. Annex 1 duly completed. Evaluation criteria To decide between the candidates presented, the Jury will evaluate the careers, performances and/or works presented according to the following criteria: - The embodiment of fundamental values ​​of coexistence. - Special attention to actions aimed at young people, women and diversity. - The social impact and transformative incidence in the local world. - The opportunity for contributions and innovation. - The testimonial value. Awards The jury will propose, if possible, the granting of two awards: one for individuals and another for entities or institutions. The awards for the 13th edition of the Àlex Seglers Memorial will consist of original works of art created by students of the Xalest school. The awards will be presented in a public event chaired by the person in charge of the Consistory, on September 30, the date of Mr. Alex Seglers' birth, or on a close date if any extraordinary circumstance occurs that makes it impossible. Resolution and notification The resolution will be notified by public display on the notice board of the Sabadell City Council (Pl. de San Roque, 14). Against the resolution that puts an end to the administrative procedure, an appeal for reconsideration may be filed, on an optional basis, within a period of one month, or a contentious administrative appeal within a period of two months, without prejudice to the filing of any other that is considered appropriate.
