Official description of the call

First. - Call for applications 45 scholarships are being called on a competitive basis that are intended to facilitate access to higher education for students of the University of Cádiz with the best academic record of any undergraduate course and who have received aid from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training or an equivalent scholarship from the Department of Education of any Autonomous Community for the 2024/2025 academic year and are carrying out a SICUE mobility stay during the course. 2025/2026. Second. - Beneficiaries may apply for Santander Estudios scholarships | Financial Aid for university students who in the 2025-2026 academic year are enrolled at the University of Cádiz in official Degree studies that meet the following additional requirements: Be a beneficiary of the general scholarship convened by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training or an equivalent scholarship from the Department of Education of any Autonomous Community in the 2024/2025 academic year. Achieve a weighted average grade of at least 6.00 points, according to the assessment criteria established in the rules of the call. Carry out a SICUE mobility stay during the 2025/2026 academic year. The requirements must be met by the end date of the application submission period. The scholarships regulated in this call are compatible with the aid contained in the General Call for Scholarships and Study Aid of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training (MEFP), with the equivalent scholarship from the Department of Education of any Autonomous Community, as well as with any other type of scholarship or aid offered by the University of Cádiz. Third.- Applications To apply for this scholarship, it will be necessary to register on the Banco Santander platform (https://www.becas-santander.com). When completing the application, it will be signed, in accordance with the provisions of articles 9 to 12 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, authorizing the applicant to the University of Cádiz to obtain from other Public Administrations the information that is necessary for the determination, knowledge and verification of all the identification data, personal and academic circumstances necessary for the resolution of their application. The deadline for submission of applications will be between May 1 and October 15, 2025, both inclusive. Room. - Characteristics of the program The forty-five (45) scholarships are distributed as follows: a) 9 scholarships to the branch of knowledge of Arts and Humanities. b) 9 scholarships for the science branch of knowledge. c) 9 scholarships for the Health Sciences branch of knowledge. d) 9 scholarships for the branch of knowledge of Social and Legal Sciences. e) 9 scholarships for the branch of knowledge of Engineering and Architecture. After classifying the applications by branches of knowledge, the planned scholarships will be awarded in accordance with the priority criteria established in the bases of the call. Fifth. - Amount of aid The amount of the Santander Studies Scholarship | Financial Aid will be 1,000 euros. The granting of this scholarship does not entail exemption from payment by the beneficiary of public prices for academic services. Sixth. - Information on the processing of the scholarship To obtain information on the processing status of the procedure, interested parties may contact the Student Management and International Relations Area – Scholarships of the University of Cádiz.
