SUBSIDIES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF MUNICIPAL SPORTS SCHOOLS FOR THE 2025/2026 YEAR

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries: The subsidies will be granted to associations and sports clubs that are registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations prior to the date of publication of the rules that govern the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Teruel (official section of the Official Gazette of Aragon) and that remain registered, at least from the beginning of the project until the presentation of the justification for it. In addition to registration in the Municipal Registry of Associations, Sports Clubs and Associations must be legally recognized and registered in accordance with the provisions of Title III, Chapter II, of Law 16/2018, of December 4, on physical activity and sports in Aragon. Sports associations or clubs that receive a subsidy from the Teruel City Council through an agreement or a nominative subsidy contemplated in the municipal budget, or through any other instrument that involves the contribution of municipal funds for the same purpose or object contemplated in these Rules are excluded from this call. Second. Purpose: The development of Municipal Sports Schools in order to promote the practice of physical and sports activity among school-age children. Third. Regulatory bases: The Specific Ordinance by which the regulatory bases that will govern the public calls for the granting of subsidies aimed at the Development of Municipal Sports Schools are approved were approved by agreement of the Plenary City Council in an ordinary session on March 4, 2024 and its final approval was published in the Official Gazette of the Province No. 100, of May 27, 2024. Amount: The maximum amount of the subsidies called is 32,000.00 euros. Fifth. Place and deadline for submitting applications: As the interested parties who are the recipients of this call are obligated to interact exclusively by electronic means with the Administration, subsidy applications must be submitted exclusively by electronic means through the Electronic Headquarters of the Teruel City Council, whose catalog of procedures includes the "Subsidy application for the development of municipal sports schools." Its electronic presentation will be equally valid through the electronic headquarters of the rest of the Public Administrations or entities dependent on the Public Sector, or the Common Electronic Registry Portal of the General Administration of the State. Subsidy applications will be presented in the standardized models provided by the City Council. Both the Bases and the standardized models will be available to the public in the City Council offices and in the electronic headquarters of the Teruel City Council. The submission of the application with the corresponding documentation must be made within the period of twenty business days starting from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Teruel (official section of the Official Gazette of Aragon). If the last day of the aforementioned period coincides with a non-business day, it will be deemed extended to the next business day.
