CITY HALL SUBSIDIES FOR CARRYING OUT SPECIAL EVENTS OF CULTURAL INTEREST

Official description of the call

First: Beneficiaries The Town Councils of the province of Jaén, with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants, will be able to access the status of beneficiaries, each of them being able to submit an application for two of the five planned lines, therefore, a maximum of two applications. Second: Purpose The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of subsidies, on a competitive basis, intended for the City Councils of the province, for the holding of events of special cultural interest, for the development of the following LINES: - LINE 1: PERFORMING ARTS: Activities, programs, projects, performances and workshops related to theatre, dance and music, in all their facets and styles. - LINE 2: PLASTIC ARTS: Courses, exhibitions, competitions (regional, national or international) that cover the different types of plastic arts and promote the artistic sensitivity of citizens. - LINE 3: HISTORICAL RECREATIONS: Commemorations of historical events of all kinds that occurred in the municipality and, therefore, deserve to be made known as a cultural expression. - LINE 4: LITERARY COMPETITIONS AND COMPETITIONS: call for contests, competitions and literary stories held in the province of Jaén. - LINE 5: FLAMENCO: Competitions, contests, festivals, conferences and evenings held in the province of Jaén. Third: Regulatory Bases Bases of the Call for Subsidies in competitive competition of the Area of Culture and Sports of the Provincial Council of Jaén for the realization of events of special cultural interest in favor of the City Councils of the province, fiscal year 2025 (Resolution of the Deputy Delegate of the Area of Culture and Sports No. 394, of April 30, 2025, P.S. Resolution of the President No. 432, July 4, 2023). Fourth: Amount Total amount: 220,000.00 ¿ Fifth: Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be FIFTEEN DAYS, understanding that these are business days, counted from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the province of Jaén. Compatibility: Yes Documentation: as provided for in article 10 of the call Assessment criteria: those provided for in article 9 of the call Payment method: the subsidy will be made effective in a single payment, in advance, prior to justification Execution period: from January 1 to December 31, 2025. Form of justification: it will be necessary to present the documentation indicated in article 22 of the call. Deadline for submission of supporting documentation: the deadline will be 45 calendar days from the day following the end of the execution period.
